Everything electronic worked great and has a feeling just like Lego to put together the one thing I had a problem with was bag 5 had one missing piece so I found the same piece as a spare in blue so no big problem

would be a 5 star if they included the 6 function controller kit instead of the 4, which for only $30 on their own website seems like a small bullet to bite in order to make customers extremely happy with their purchase. Other than that I wish some parts of the manuel were just a bit more clear on what was going on during that step, but even so for the price I won't complain in general because I'm very happy, it works great, looks amazing and was a bit better quality than expected to be honest! I used the bucket to grab my wifes size 8 croc shoe and picked it up by the strap and moved it around. I know crocs are not the heaviest but for a lego set that's pretty good. As far as general piece quality- If I didn't know better these are LEGO! so needless to say I have a lot of faith in the pieces holding up for quite some time even with a little bit of abuse. So if your reading this still thank you and- just buy it!! you won't regret it for the price even with buying the 6 channel controller kit seperate. Oh and for the missing pieces reviews, I had all my pieces plus a few spares just like lego does. I did however have to grab a piece from bag 2 in order to finish bag 1 according to the manuel. ... show more

    • Totally worth it if you dont need Lego-level quality
If you just want to build a unique and well engineered mechanical model for the joy of doing it, then this is GREAT value. If all of your problems are first-world, you have $500 to burn, AND you demand the absolute finest quality control in every respect, then buy yourself some lego and what are you doing even looking at this? Anyway, I was consistently impressed with the fit, design, and features throughout. The instructions are FINE. There was no point where the quality of instructions was nearly as low as the price. I expected absolute trash based on the price! But this set was clearly produced with much more care than chinas typical level of effort when producing knock-off type products. The parts fit together in a consistent and surprisingly precise way( not as good as lego but way better than COBI). They consistently exceeded my (minimal) expectations with sufficiently detailed instructions, and mechanisms which were engineered with a clear priority for high functionality and aesthetic over cheap simplicity. ... show more

Enjoyed many aspects of build and directions. Had some difficulty attaching longer pieces but managed. Was concerned that the numerous gears would line up as attaching two main sections seemed skewed. Finished and gears are slipping and only a few functions operated.     • Missing pieces
This is the second Mould King set we have purchased and both have been missing pieces. The first we have had to disassemble to return. Now as we have started assembling the second set, it is also missing pieces. Very frustrating!!!
