This is a great little instrument with a lot of features that aren't immediately obvious. I just needed it as a straight amplifier for my TV, but there are some modes that come with that: FM Radio: This is a surprise win. The signal is really clear even with the antenna down and it's easy to switch between channels with the remote. My only problem is that I don't know what channel I'm on due to the lack of a display. Bluetooth: In my experience, it's a little buggy. I haven't tried to use this much, but it works. As for the sound quality, I have no complaints. The bass range is a little low and can't just be pumped using the bass knob (as usual), but I wouldn't really expect high quality bass without a sub. The sound is clear without distortion at least to the extent that I push it, and the noise is very low. Another minor thing: the power light doesn't turn off when you turn off the amp from the remote. The power supply also sparks when I plug it into the outlet. Overall? Not bad! I'll see how far this lasts. ... show more

I've got this connected to an old set of Bose 301's for my garage. Good clear sound, compact size, bluetooth connects quickly, and the USB port will charge my iPhone, which some generic ports don't always do. The one star debit is for the radio. The reception is weak, and it only seems to scan for channels below about 96.0. I've tried moving it, clipping wires to the antenna, no change. I really don't need it for the radio, so no biggie, but just a heads up if you are looking to listen to FM radio with this. It doesn't really work for me. ... show more

This item replaced the large stereo and receiver. Small but effective. The remote is small, so find a way to keep track of it.

We were gonna get a sound bar, because we have a pretty cheap 4K ONN TV with bad speakers.... we were using the aux out on the TV with some decent sounding old PC external speakers I had, but they had no remote, so we couldn't adjust the volume with any of our remotes. But I realized these Bose speakers from the 80s we had just needed an amplifier, so I ordered this little guy, connected it to the speakers, then to our TV, programed the Apple TV remote to adjust sound on this amp, and now we can control volume while sitting down. If you already have some decent older speakers--like, external speakers connected to an old CD player with the clipped red and black wires or whatever--you can breathe new life into them with this thing by connecting it to those speakers, then connecting this thing to whatever device you want to play through. Or you can just connect your phone or other bluetooth device directly to this amplifier via Bluetooth and use it to a pair of speakers. Much cheaper and probably better sounding than a sound bar would have been for us. ... show more

Compact and ruggedly housed. Sound is pretty good, but not very loud - the ‘50 watt’ rating is highly suspect. It’s no louder than the 2-watt-per-channel amp it replaced in my garage. FM radio misses a lot of local strong stations. Bluetooth was glitchy with an iPhone 7, fine with a 13. USB and RCA inputs work fine. ... show more

    • small cheap amplifier
I purchased this to replace my pool radio that has 4 outdoor speakers. previous radio was also 50W. first off this thing is tiny, which may or may not be what you're looking for, size didn't really matter to me much. secondly, the plugs in the back for the speaker wires are also tiny, this made it extremely difficult to plug in the speakers wires. plan on getting tiny banana plugs if your speakers wires are just bare wires. lets jump into the function of the unit. sounds okay, its not loud, but sound quality isnt distorted. I can tell you that my other 50W radio was much louder, which makes me believe that this unit is not 50W, probably more like 30W. next is the FM function, which is non existent. if you need FM radio, avoid this unit. after messing with the unit for over 35 minutes trying to get a channel to come in, it was still very static sounding. moved the antenna all over, moved the unit, added wire, nothing helped much. antenna is also perm, so changing that out quickly is a big nope. there also is no display for the stations, so you're fumbling around hoping that if a station does come in, that you will recognize it. bluetooth function is okay. works about like normal with maybe 10 - 20 feet of range. at this point I knew that I wasted my money and would need to grab a different radio. if you're looking for a very cheap $20 bluetooth amp, this might be okay, although in my opinion there are better options for that in the same price range, like grabbing a cheap alexa or google home that has a 3.5 mm speaker plug you can plug an adapter into.     • Perfect if you already have speakers
I had extra speakers lying around with no amp and I wanted a cheap solution to having a stereo system in my garage so I ordered this and wired it up. Works great, signal quality and bandwidth is good for any small space and probably any room in the house too. It would also be good for a pool or porch stereo. The only problem is that the Bluetooth range is very short and super spotty past about 15 feet. You get what you pay for I guess, but it was worth the low price for me. ... show more

    • Powerful, portable, very nice.
This is my second product from Moukey. The first was a pair of passive speakers MA-20 2way. Absolutely, great sound from the speakers! I like to test equipment picked up at yard sales and outlets that sell second-hand items. I wanted a small digital amp where I could test speakers, Cd players, DVD players. This product looked to fit my needs. Boy does it ever! It sounds crystal-clear. The audio output will not knock you on your ass...but it is enough to give you beautiful music at a nice sound level. You must be reasonable about your expectations...this is NOT equivalent to what a 25 watt per channel receiver will pump out. That being said, it does get loud enough to hear it at a LOUD level (not ear-splitting). This is exactly what I was looking for for my needs. It weighs a touch over one pound!
