So when I got it in the mail the box was destroyed the corners had holes. I was missing one piece it was the skinny back piece. I had one, but there was supposed to be two everything else was pretty good. The sturdiness is really good like it’s really sturdy, putting it together was OK I guess I had a hard time. Assembly was easy, looks exactly like the pictures, and seems to be holding up well. My only concern is that the top pedestal to place your monitor on seems to be a bit less sturdy than I’d like it to be holding up my gaming monitor. The monitor sits fine, just wobbles a little from time to time if the desk is bumped so may be a concern for those who have a lot going on around the desk. ... show more

You won’t be able to fit two monitors but other than that it’s not bad. The cup holder and headphone holder are pretty nice features and you can move them around to suit your hand dominance (I.e my cup holder is on the right because that’s the hand I drink with)

    • Great computer desk when the price is right

I'll try to write this review objectively, with qualifier added where necessary. First off, in the weeks prior to my purchasing this desk, the price swung by forty bucks (down from the original asking price). Admittedly, this helped sway me decision to purchase. The packaging was very good, up to expected standards. All parts were there and they were all intact. Installation was easy. The parts fit perfectly, and the end-result was a very sturdy desk. IMHO, the graphics added on the two outward facing sides of the legs are kind of cheesy, when seen from close-up. A qualifier here is that I'm probably a tad older than the average gaming dude. The graphics are essentially stick-on tapes which, in my case, were unevenly applied and had wrinkles and bubbles. Fortunately, it was easy to remove them, after which I used a goo-off sort of solvent to remove the remaining gooey residue. The metal parts appear to be powder coated, which is good. The desk surface, despite the carbon fiber look, is smooth (i.e. not textured). About the added shelf and how good (or not good) it may turn out to be: it installs solidly, so that isn't an issue. But because it elevates a monitor 7 inches above the desk surface it simply makes the monitor swing that much more (wobbly) when the desk is disturbed. That's not an issue with the desk itself, it's just the nature of things. There are a few additional things to keep in mind regarding the shelf: its width is about 18" and the depth is about 8.5". For comparison, the span of the semi-circular stand of my 38" ultrawide LG curved monitor is 21.5" and it has a depth of about 10.5", and the stand of my 34" flat ultrawide LG monitor's is about 19.5" wide and has the same depth as the other monitor's (approx. 10.5"). So even the smaller monitor would be a real close call and I wouldn't chance it, personally. I wouldn't even consider the bigger monitor. Of course, your mileage will very, depending on the monitor you might try to use. The shelf may have many other uses, like supporting external drives, etc. I would have given 4 1/2 stars if that had been possible, but since it wasn't I gave 5 stars because of the overall quality and because of the price I paid. ... show more
