The crease is barely noticable in daily use. I only really notice it when I'm actively thinking about it and occasionally when drawing on my phone but it's tolerable. I love the external screen and it's helped me to not use my phone for extended periods of time. The phone build is sturdy and high quality, it runs fast, and most apps work great on the external display (even games Minecraft). The value of this phone is incredible. The camera is better than just about any android phone I've seen in person, there's more storage and memory than I even know what to do with, the audio quality is pretty solid and it's loud enough to play music in a rickety car on a bumpy freeway with the windows down. I haven't had any issues with calls dropping, occasionally texts will take a while to go through but I live in the mountains, so that's to be expected. Out and about my service connection is always great. The phone has also been generally fun to use. The only two pieces of tech to come out in my lifetime that I've really felt excited over have been virtual reality and foldable smart phones, and this phone has really lived up to my excitement. The external display mirroring the internal display when taking photos is something that comes in very handy and people always get so excited when they first see it. The phone has made for a great conversation starter when out and about. I like to carry it in my hand instead of in my pocket sometimes because I love when people ask me questions about it and I get to show off all the fun features. The external display runs all sorts of things including just about any mobile game you can think of. The smart connect feature works surprisingly well with my computer and makes it easier to respond to texts while working without getting immediately sidetracked. Google Gemini comes in very handy when I need quick answers, although sometimes she has no clue what I'm saying and she ends up giving me some very strange responses as a result. The Google Lens type feature that pops up when holding down the nav bar is helpful too. I've found myself using it for quick translations or when people text a word or phrase that I'm not familiar with. I downloaded the Novel Launcher on this phone as I had with my previous phone. It works great on the internal display but it doesn't work well on the external display because it carries the settings from the internal display over to the external display and so everything is squished and cut off in order to make it fit. If there were an option in Nova Launcher to set up two separate home screens for each screen of this phone then that would make the app more practical, but I'm happy enough with the customizability available on the external screen as Motorola designed it. I did have concerns with not being able to change out the internal screen protector, but after having this phone for a few weeks I've realized that it's much less of an issue than anticipated because of how much time the phone spends while closed. I've never dropped the phone with it open and the screen protector on the external display has done its jobe during those falls. I'm completely pleased with this phone. I was a bit worried coming from my Pixel 8, considering all I've had are Pixel devices for years now - but I wanted something I could fold up and make smaller, throw in my bag or pocket without issues and I've heard good things about the Razr. I'm always switching up phones, it's my vice I guess but so far I will say I'm really loving this one. Compared to the Pixel 8, the speed of the device, the battery life, its all very comparable. I don't have any issues with lagging, which I thought might happen, but no issues there. The extra features it adds with the ability to flip open the phone are nice, though I don't use them a ton. I do like the fact that for a number of apps I don't even have to open the phone, I can use them right from my front screen on the device - that's a huge plus for me. Not all of them work perfectly as not all of them are designed for that type of use, but to my surprise many of them work just fine! The hinge/folding part of the screen can be a little noticeable but I expected that, and it doesn't bother me at all while using the phone, scrolling, viewing, etc. The sound on the device is good, clear, I don't see much of a difference vs. my prior Pixel. Now, the one thing you can't compare is the camera. While its acceptable for me on this device, the Pixel blows it away. If that's important to you, take note. The camera is not bad at all honestly - I can just tell the difference, especially when taking pictures in bright light - now maybe that is on me and I need to make adjustments but compared to the Pixel its just not as good. Also, I found it odd that it has preinstalled factory made screen covers - there are multiple warnings stating not to remove them or you void your warranty, etc. So yeah, DON'T remove them. I hope they're strong enough - I worry about what you do when they crack...but I've saved that thought for another day. Overall, I'd say if you're on the fence and you want a folding device like this one, it's a great choice especially for the price. ... show more

This was my 2x trying Amazon Renewed. This time I purchased the LAST stated available 2023 described as "In OEM box, Box shows wear from opening". The Moto Razor Flip phone was described as "Like new". Immediately upon arrival w/o even opening the box I knew it was wrong as the package was far too light. I opened it & there was a Moto Razor w/obvious discoloration on the case from use + a CHIP in the bottom screen. Packaging was similar to a top end Samsung I ordered from Amazon Renewed & fulfilled by a 3rd Party in FL 2 years ago. I saved due to credit only $20 @ checkout over a NEW One. WORSE there's NO WAY to return this immediately (There' are 2 Amazon Return 2 locations within 2-5 minutes of my house. Just came back from one & CS stated "I've never seen this")). Instead Amazon MAY notify me when they'll ONLY pickup from my house in 3 days. I had this EXACT same problem with a $700+ Laptop that was supposed to be Brand New. I'm beyond a coder or tech guy & ran a battery cycle count software on that as the battery lasted 2 hours less than advertised. It was obviously a RETURN, re-sold as NEW, unless Compaq sells Laptops w/over 200 battery cycles already on them. Same thing w/2 PB's & a CH Android Tablet which still had the previous User's name & account information installed. Seriously, WHO is doing QC? I'll NEVER use Renewed again. Period. Even when you buy a NEW item it's 50/50 now you'll get someone else's return sold as New! eBay here I come again. Worst thing this was supposed to be a gift. OBVIOUS Screen CHIP really ticks me off. Since 2022 I'm now 2 for 8+ on purchases of tech devices. Buy with caution! ... show more
