    • Got my old 88 Polaris running.
Thing hasn’t ran since 2001 and the original carb was GONNNEEE!! With corrosion. I threw this on skeptical of the reviews and believe it or not she fired right on up. The high side (full throttle) is a little lean but I bought the jet kit and bumped the jetting up and now it runs just as it did in 01. You have to know what you’re doing, you can’t just carb swap something and be done. You have to factor in altitude adjustments and your air/fuel ratio. These are made in China and sent to California and they are ALL pretuned for 0ft sea level so they will run lean, if you run them lean especially a 2 stroke it will run extremely hot and score up the cylinder. So definitely tune and do your research before leaving a review ... show more

It’s doesn’t fit the quad as described. I’ve missed the return window and now I’m stuck with this. It is the sellers fault for putting the wrong item description and fitment part numbers. False item description.

    • To small but the quality seemed good.
This item was bought for a 1986 Trail Boss 250. This carburetor is alot smaller than the factory carburetor. The quality seemed very good. This might work on a 125cc or 200cc engine but not a 250cc. I am returning it.
