  • Perfect size
Size: 8 Eggs Incubator
This incubator is the perfect size for someone that isn't trying to have a business with the animals they hatch. What I mean is, you can easily hatch yourself up to 8 chicken (or in my case of my most recent batch, turkey) eggs, and then it is small enough to put away until next year. It doesn't take up a ton of room, so you can easily leave it on a table or dresser. The automatic egg turning was a life saver, I forgot to make sure that was one of the features before I bought it. It does have an egg candler which is much more handy than trying to find a flashlight brought enough to check the eggs. I wish it had a different kind of reservoir to hold the water instead of pop bottles, but that would be much harder to clean. It isn't loud so you can have it in your bedroom if that's the only room that stays a good temperature. This is so easy to use that my 5-year-old is claiming it as his own. ... show more

  • Surprisingly Fantastic!
Size: 8 Eggs Incubator
I'm surprised how well the temperature is controlled. Used an expensive thermometer to measure actual temps—and temp is exactly on the nose! Easy to maintain high humidity for 3 days pre-hatch. Lower 40% - 50% humidity level requires almost completely dry unit in my humid location conditions. GREAT BUY **Small Quail egg tray works perfectly for finch eggs.** ... show more

  • Terrible product....do not purchase!
Size: 8 Eggs Incubator
I have hatched many eggs in my lifetime. The quail egg insert does not fit your standard quail egg size. Hence placing an egg every other opening. Not really a big deal. the fact that the eggs do not turn in any way shape or form, is a problem. The gear works to rotate the tray. Because the cutouts are so narrow, the eggs do not touch the bottom and DO NOT ROTATE. So, I went with the chicken insert. Easy to select a tempurature, no control on humidity whatsoever. No vent and using the bottles to up the humidity does not work. 80% humidity is a no go. Over half of my chicks were doa in the shell. Heartbreaking. 3 days to hatch out all my eggs, this tells me the heating is not a constant in all areas. 7 successful eggs out of 18, these are not good numbers. Returning. ... show more

  • Good beginners
Size: 8 Eggs Incubator
This is a good beginners incubator. I hatched muscovy ducks. You are not able to control humidity levels in the incubator. With ducklings this is a bit of a problem. Also, the incubator itself is very very small. One of our ducklings was trampled and died due to injuries because there was no room for everyone to move after hatching. I would probably use this again, but with only 4 duck eggs. During this hatch I attempted to hatch 8 duck eggs. I had 5 that hatched, one died in the shell, one died shortly after hatching due to injuries and 3 made it to adulthood. I think if there had only been 4 eggs there would have been more room during the hatching process. ... show more

  • Really works, stable temperature, impressed
Size: 8 Eggs Incubator
I was a little skeptical due to a bad experience with another mini incubator I recently tried (killed my eggs with temp fluctuations) but I am impressed with this one so far. I put in my own little thermometer and humidity gage to test it, and it stays impressively stable and uniform throughout the incubator despite temperature changes in the house around it. Couldn't resist candling my eggs to check (the built in LED candler is really nice) and have live development in almost all of them. I'm so excited. The auto turner is very nice also. Great little machine Update: got a decent hatch rate, I've got 3 chicks and 4 quail out of this first round. ... show more

  • How to use it if you already have one
Size: 26 Eggs Incubator
A. The humidity is uncontrollable as is. My solution: i drilled three 3/8 inch holes in the dome. when the humidity dropped too low, i taped over a hole with scotch tape. when the hatch started. the humidity shot up to about 100%, too high, i removed taped over holes B. the floor is too slick for newly hatched chicks and causes some chicks to have splayed legs. My solution: Cut cloth screen wire (or something similar) to fit the floor with the turning tray removed. put the screen wire in when you go into lockdown. There is no way to disconnect the egg turner so you MUST remove the turning tray. When you do, put the screen down before placing eggs back in. C. It will hold 60ish quail eggs. Don't try that many. I'd say 40 is about as many as it will hold without overcrowding. D. When you remove the dome to take out the chicks (after they are fully dry) there is nothing to keep them from just hopping off: My solution: place the incubator inside a cardboard box with 3 inch (75MM approx) sides, then remove the top. I will not be using this incubator again. Not sure what i will buy for the next batch yet. ... show more

  • sleek and functional egg incubator
Size: 8 Eggs Incubator
I recently received the Egg Incubator I ordered and I'm impressed with its appearance and functionality. Although I haven't used it yet, it seems like a promising product. The incubator has a sleek design that looks visually appealing. It appears to be well-built and durable, giving me confidence in its longevity. From what I can tell, the incubator offers practical features. The transparent lid allows easy observation of the eggs without disturbing them. It also seems to have reliable temperature and humidity controls for creating an optimal environment for successful incubation. While I can't comment on its performance firsthand, the incubator appears versatile enough to accommodate different egg sizes. It seems user-friendly with its adjustable dividers and trays. I'm looking forward to trying it out and seeing the results for myself. ... show more

  • Chicks
Size: 8 Eggs Incubator
For the price it was great. Problem is, I have more chicks than I need. 8 egg holder is plenty. I was very happy that it actually worked. It’s addicting. Before you know it you’ll have babies everywhere. You won’t be able to help yourself cus they are so cute.
