I have bought 4 sets of these now and a few for Christmas gifts. I like that this is a small business brand. Bowls are a nice size and shape for Pho or Ramen or really whatever soup you desire. I have all the colors and they are subtle and creamy. The bowls are sturdy and easy to clean. If you endulge in lots of Asian style soups I highly recommend these. Even with the large size, chopsticks easily prop up or lay across the top. The Asian style soup spoons prop without sliding into oblivion. I much prefer these over the melamine bowls as I hate eating from plastics and they also look way nicer! Note: as with any pottery bowl, I would not heat the soup in bowl in the microwave without being aware that ceramic pottery gets hot! ... show more

I only take the time to write reviews for products that are exceptionally good, or exceptionally bad. Well, these bowls are fantastic! They are beautiful, substantial, and perfect for so many uses. We will use them for ramen, rice bowls, and soups. They are large, but still feel like dinner bowls as opposed to serving bowls. They will hold an ample amount of soup without sloshing over the sides. This is great because sometimes we eat nothing but a big bowl of soup for a meal. My family loves these and now I have to order more. It is a very solid and beautifully crafted bowl. I wish it was a bit smaller, but that's because I am the one washing them by hand because I don't want them to break. They also do well in the dishwasher.

Just got these and love them already. They are nice and big so I will use them for soups or as serving bowls. Love the colors and style, and they seem well made. I have some other Mora dining-ware and have been happy with it so adding these to my collection.

Love these ramen bowls! I'd been waiting for Mora Ceramics to sell these for months, and they exceeded my expectations. We haven't tried them with actual ramen and broth yet, but a noodle stir-fry turned out great, and we can already tell the lip of bowl will be perfect for sipping. I love the neutrals for my husband and I—he gets the pale green/almost sage one, and I get the blush one (pictured)—but I plan to buy another set of the white for food photography (and guests). The bottom of the bowl has a smooth lip/ring, so you don't have to worry about it scratching up your countertops (a concern with some other ceramics I have). Dishwasher-safe is a huge perk, though they are also easy to clean by hand with a sponge :) Bonus: These bowls shipped securely with a ton of padding—no need to worry about damage in transit! ... show more

I ordered these bowls blindly and hoped for the best. They arrived so well packaged and they are safe for my oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The brown portion is slightly deeper and warmer than photo suggests but they are a fantastic size! I got them for ramen but they are perfectly sized for small fruit bowls or smaller mixing bowls as well. I’m now planning to just replace all my current bakeware with this company’s products.
