They're well-made in pleasant muted colors, and were the perfect size for two batches of a coffee parfait I made for friends and neighbors. The ceramic finish on the sides is silky, but not slick and shiny, with small dark flecks scattered throughout. The bottoms are snow white and unfinished, so they don't slide around. (If used often enough, especially in baking, they may develop a darker color as they "season.") Solidly constructed and stackable, they cleaned up beautifully in the dishwasher. I have them stacked 3 rows high, but any higher and the stack Will be unstable. Several are missing from the dozen I bought: neighbors still have two, and one is currently holding a thermometer and other small items on my kitchen counter. They're THAT kind of container. Quality stuff. Keep in mind these are heavier than most, and thicker. They will take up more room in the cabinets. In the dishwasher there is minimal space between plates and bowls need to be spread out every other row. Nice design, solid materials and design. Holding up well with use. I wish you could pick the colors that come in the sets. The pinkish/beige are by far my least favorite and some sets have randomly more than others.
