Easy install, I took out the bolt that goes into the bracket and placed the bracket itself on the rails where I wanted it. The other bolt I loosened it a little bit just enough to be able to slide the bars side to side, don’t loosen it all the way because the washer will come out it’s place. Once I positioned the brackets I mounted the bar on top of the bracket and tightened everything down. The Hardest part is putting on the rubber cover, it’s best to have someone help you in case your thumbs get tired! For some reason mine was longer then the bar and I had to cut a bit of the end to make it fit flush once I had it completely on. ... show more

1. Shipping: Poorly packaged for shipping! Crossbars arrived in a box that was split wide open on 3 sides as if someone had snapped the box in half over their knee completely exposing the contents. Fortunately, there are no small parts, or they would have been lost in shipping. Crossbars were loose and rattling around in the box but didn't appear damaged in any way. 2. What you get: 2 assembled Crossbars, with the feet attached. 2 Rubber covers that snap into the top of the Crossbars after installation, 1 Allen wrench, and basic instructions. 3. Design and Quality: These racks look and feel like well-made quality products. I was impressed with the design and simplicity. One look at the racks and it was apparent how they fastened to the roof. I never even opened the instructions! There are 2 screws at the end of each rail, one screw tightens the foot to the roof rail and the other tightens the rail to the foot, that's it! 4. Installation: You will need the included Allen wrench and a tape measure. I installed the crossbars as far forward and as far back on the roof rails as possible. 1. Starting in the middle push the rubber cover into top of the Crossbar and slowly work your way towards the ends. This is the most difficult part of the installation and you’re going to need strong thumbs! Leave the last 4”-6” unattached so you can access the screws. 2. Loosen the 1st screw in the top of the rail on both sides, and the metal bracket that attaches to the rail will descend from the bottom of the foot. Loosen as far as you can without removing the screw. 2. Place the bracket into the rail and position the foot over the rail. 3. Tighten the 1st screw snug enough that you can’t remove the foot from the rail but it will still slide a bit. 3. Measure that the foot is in the same place on each rail and measure that the Crossbar overhangs the foot by equal amounts on both sides. 4. Tighten both screws and double-check your measurements. 5. Finish installing the rubber cover on top of the rails. Pushing down in the middle with something narrow and rounded like the end of a butter knife or spoon helps. 5. Noise: Less than I expected! No whistling at all, slightly more wind noise at speeds above 70 but barely noticeable with the radio on and not objectionable! 6. Looks great! ... show more

These are the OEM MOPAR roof racks for the Grand Cherokee WK2, and they fit just like if you had the dealer install them. Pretty easy to install, but mine had the rubber drip guard packed separately, not already in the channel. Installing the rubber drip guard was fairly difficult, but the rest was super easy, all hardware and tools were included. And, as always, Jeep easter eggs! ... show more

Installation was quick, once I looked up a video on what to do. The instructions probably make more sense to someone who already understands how they work lol.. After the video, it took maybe 10 min. Attatch the rubber slips BEFORE the bars go on, especially if you're short :) Seems sturdy. Can't wait to put them to use! ... show more
