The pad is very very thin, but daycare uses them on top of a cot thankfully. Blanket is super soft and extra wide to keep toddler covered. Easy to wash/dry, pillow is removable.

I washed the mat as well as the removable pillow and it all came out great. I did NOT put the pillow in the dryer I let it air dry.
