We bought this bed for our toddler and it has been a great purchase, totally worth the money. Both pieces blow up in less than 2 minutes and deflating is also super easy and quick. Very comfortable for kids and even adults. I will say it is noisy when getting out of it if you are an adult, but it’s very sturdy and holds a good amount of weight. The bag is very convenient for travel and everything fits inside well. I’ve even managed to fit a sheet and blanket in the bag. I bought 2 of these mattress/beds two years ago for my daughter's two toddlers for when she travels out of state to visit family. She can pack them in a check bag, (sometimes just the inner mattress now that her kids are a little older) and they don't really take up that much room. I just bought 2 more to keep at my house when she visits ... they'll be able to use them for at least another 5-6 years. Regular crib sheets fit. Blows up quick and deflates fast too. I cannot say enough good things about this product. We have had one for over 5 years and used it with two kids on many trips, including long trips. It's the perfect travel bed to transition to after a pack-n-play gets too small, which can happen pretty early. Both of our kids are serious rollers, and haven't been able to sleep in a normal bed without bumpers until around 6 years old. This contains them and keeps them safe and comfy. Also, note that it packs pretty compactly but blows up quite big--as an average-sized woman, I could probably sleep on this in a pinch. The only thing that confused me at first is that you have to pump the air in *while* the black things are in place in the wholes, or else it escapes. We also had a warranty issue years after purchase and Hiccapop dealt with it very smoothly. 100% recommend this to other families who travel! ... show more

Was hesitant to pay a higher price for this HICCAPOP brand as there were many products that looked almost identicle. But it's reviews were great & the Lifetime Guarantee convinced me. Not everytime, but in my experience, most of the time you do get what you pay for. Upon arrival I put it away for the next time my granddaughter came for an extended stay. Time passed & when we finally opened to use it, I could see immediately it was EXTREMELY well made with very thick, quality material. Easy to set up & inflate & my granddaughter LOVED it! The raised sides proved to be an excellent feature since she sleeps so absolutely wild! She goes back to stomach to side, upside down, sideways, one leg over the side etc... all over the place! The bed is quite a bit larger than I expected. The inside "mattress" portion is flocked, which is really nice. Regular crib sheets & mattress covers fit great & the flocking seems to help keep them on the bed despite her nightly "gymnast" routine, lol. I was very impressed! impressed.had a small leak at one of the seams & was NOT looking forward to the hassle of calling customer service regarding their so called "Lifetime Guarantee". We'd only used the bed for 3 days when it started deflating. At first I thought it was just the bed "stretching" and settling as all air mattresses do so I added a bit more air. However by the 3rd day it was deflating pretty quickly & we finally found a leak at one of the seams. I had followed the exact inflating instructions, had not over inflated & my 3 yr old, 31 lb granddaughter was nowhere close to the weight limit. I huffed & puffed & rolled my eyes. I was agitated because I knew I was going to have to argue & throw a fit for them to honor their so called "Lifetime Guarantee" and get a replacement. I emailed the company & they responded within 24 hrs. The asked for a photo of where the leak was, even if the actual leak wasn't visible, my Amazon order #, and my shipping address. I got sidetracked for a few weeks, then saw where THEY had emailed ME that since I hadn't responded, they wanted to reassure me they would like the opportunity to rectify the issue. I sent the requested photo, order # & shipping address. The next day I received an email that my replacement was being sent along with my tracking number. The absolute most prompt, pleasant customer service team I have ever contacted! My husband works in manufacturing so I understand that despite all quality control measures, it is near impossible to have 100% perfect product 100% of the time. Every once in a while a defect will slip through. I just happened to receive a product that had a very small spot where the seam was a bit weak. I'm sure that's the reason for the photo, so if there are similar issues around the same production time frame, they can narrow down at what point the problem is occurring & rectify it. Despite our little issue, I would still purchase the same exact product again with no hesitation. The bed is of supreme quality & the company has integrity & a top notch, A+ Customer Service team willing to go above & beyond. I have complete confidence in recommending this product. The Hiccapop brand has thoroughly impressed me. If you're shopping around like I did & are considering a little less expensive item, DON'T! BUY THIS BED! I can assure you from experience you are receiving a worry free bed of excellent quality. Worth every penny! Traveled to Mexico for a wedding and wanted to make sure our almost 2 yo toddler would be comfortable. He currently sleeps in his crib and is used to having his own space. I was in such a rush that I put the item in my luggage as it was delivered and thought - if I don’t need it, I won’t use it and will return it when I get back. The resort was tailored more for adults and I probably saw 2 babies throughout my stay. They didn’t have any portable cribs. No worries! I brought my blow up mattress with me! First, the mattress was well packaged. I opened it with my son beside me and he watched as I assembled what would be his bed throughout our stay. It was very easy and fast to blow up the two pieces. Once I put it together, laid a thick blanket, added his blanket, and grabbed a pillow - he knew it was his “bed”. He took to it very quickly. (Daycare probably helped since they usually lay a mat for nap time). We were there for 5 days and didn’t have to re-inflate once. Throughout his stay, he would flop on his mattress, enjoyed drinking his milk on it, and slept peacefully through the night. My son is an early riser and enjoyed the freedom of being able to walk around to my side bright and early to start his day - a nice contrast to fussing or crying to get him out of his crib or pack-n-play. I was very surprised at how sturdy it is - I fit on it comfortably with my son. I’m 5’ and weight approx 140 lbs. Lastly, it was just as fast and easy to pack up. This was probably the best purchase I made for our trip - and I bought many things to make sure he did well on the flight and would be comfortable in a different country for a week. I’ll be keeping this handy dandy bed for my little one and will use it for as long as it’ll hold. Very convenient and compact for travel. Locally, I use my pack-n-play and an additional foldable mattress which is bulkier. I love having the option between the two depending on where we are going and how much we are packing.
