We did an extensive search for the best travel toddler bed. We were about to purchase a foldable travel cot when we realized that wouldn’t be safe since our toddler tends to stand on her bed every now and then. We settled on an inflatable but were dreading the purchase due to weight limits, the fact that they often spring leaks that aren’t covered through warranty, and would likely only last one trip if it even made it through the trip. Just before we made the purchase this bed popped up in the recommendations. The weight limit stood out because our toddler will only fall asleep in her bed if one of us lays next to her, no other mattress met that need. I’m glad to say we have successfully put her to sleep on this mattress several times without fail. It’s comfy and a wonderful size as it will grow with her for a few years. Even our 9 year old fits on it and if they had bigger sizes I would have bought her one for camping. We also love that this bed was designed with younger toddlers in mind. Most air mattresses were rated for 2 yr olds and up. Our daughter was 18 months when we purchased this and hit all the safety measures we needed. We haven’t taken it camping yet but we have no doubt it will work great in our tent. The mattress has held up well in hotels. It doesn’t take up too much space and can easily be sat up against a wall to clear the walkway. It does take more time to inflate than others but wouldn’t be too difficult to deflate and re-inflate daily if needed. It’s very durable, as my children have played with their toys on the bed, flopped on it, or took a dive into the bed for the night and it’s held air well. We’ve probably gone a month with it inflated without having to add air since our toddler loves to use it at home as well. We haven’t had the pleasure of utilizing customer service yet but they have a strong following of customers who have successfully, which is one of the main reasons we chose this product over others. You just can’t go wrong with a company that stands behind its product. That alone made it worth the investment for us. Overall, our family loves this mattress and we highly recommend it.     • A Must Have for Traveling Toddlers!

The price tag may come at a little bit of a shock but it is totally worth it! My 20 month old just used this on a trip to visit his grandparents and it worked great. Out of a 7 day long trip, he did roll out of this once over the whole trip. However, he was only 4-6 inches off the floor and so he wasn't hurt, he was just surprised when it happened. My little one also likes to sleep pressed up against the side of his crib, so the fact he only rolled out once during the whole trip is a testament to how well the bumpers helped keep him in the bed. The mattress itself was great quality. This comes in two parts - the bumper edging and then the mattress that fits into the bumper part. Each piece is made out of a nice thick vinyl. It also came with a couple vinyl patches in case it gets a hole. The air pump it came with works great. It blew the mattress and and the bumpers up quickly. It holds air well. Over the 7 day trip, I only had to top off the air once. When we were done using it, it defaults quickly, folds up easily and actually fits back into the bag it came in without any trouble. The whole thing weighs about 8lbs and it easily fits into a medium or large suitcase with room for other clothes for easy traveling compared to a pack 'n play. A standard crib/toddler mattress is 51 5/8" x 27 1/4" and the mattress portion of this is 49" x 26". So, regular crib sheets fit well on this mattress. My 20 month old is on the slightly taller side (75th percentile), and I can tell that this mattress will last him until 4 or 5 years old. ... show more

We’ve used the Hiccapop Inflatable Toddler Mattress for two trips now, and it’s been fantastic! It travels really well, fits perfectly in both small and large hotel rooms, and comes with a pump that makes inflating it super quick and easy. The raised sides are a nice touch, acting like little railings to keep my toddler safe, and I use a crib sheet for extra comfort, though it’s not necessary. It’s so much better than dealing with an extra bed or pull-out sofa! My 2-year-old was so excited to have his own little bed, and it’s been a hit. The mattress does make a bit of a squeaky sound like an air mattress, but my child didn’t mind at all. This would also be perfect for occasional grandparent visits or sleepovers. We purchased our inflatable toddler bed with safety bumpers just over a year ago and have enjoyed using it on our travels to family and friends houses. The product is very well made of durable heavyweight vinyl. It comes with the inflator, carrying case, and instructions for setup as well as repair material and tips. After a few uses the interior mattress sprung a leak. We tried to identify the issue to resolve it ourselves but were unable to do so. I remembered it comes with a lifetime guarantee so I thought, I'll give it a shot and I am so glad I did. This company stands by their product and responded to my email in a matter of hours. I was very surprised at both the promptness of their communication and the expedience at which they resolved the matter. We just received our replacement mattress (free of charge!) and are looking forward to using it tomorrow for a family get together. I recommend this company to friends and family alike, it is worth every penny and I cannot say enough great things about this company. A true rarity in this day and age!
