  • Very Impressed With This Little Powerhouse!
Color: GE100
Spent a whopping (sarcasm) hour creating my first 5 effects to use on stage the next night with my duo! I am in love with this and the ONLY negative so far is no XLR out, but it does have TRS which is nice if you want to run stereo or use phones. I'm using it direct to a small PA tower for The Bone Daddy Duo and it sounds great as long as you create/tweak the presets. I'm using a mono TS 1/4" to XLR cable to the mixer, but have not tested the aux in to see if the TS combines both L/R channels on the output. Guitar effects sound fine this way. I jokingly call myself "3-layer menu guy" so this fits me perfectly! VERY simple and NOT just for beginners in my opinion I've been gigging for close to 50 years. I now have a bad back and my other board is quite heavy and creates an extra trip sometimes. This one fits in my cable bag! You can't beat the size/weight/value/price. ... show more

  • Oh worth, it took me a bit to even do this review
Color: GE100
Took me a bit to do this review. I just didn't give myself time to do it but it's worth it. It's great product device a lot of presets and effects. It can tweak it up yourself and save it. And it has a cord teacher on it teaches you chords that started messing with that a little bit. Probably a month ago and started understanding how it worked so I buy another one if it broke but it's pretty hefty and well made. Maybe some little bit of staticky feedback. Maybe if you don't have it plugged in very good but if you put batteries in it I think it works better with batteries in it. But it has a AC battery or something like that that you plug into it. But it works great. But I recommend better amp my opinion. But it still works pretty decent PA systems. It will work fantastic on because they don't have built-in distortions and effects and stuff like my aunt does. So I kind of think when I use certain ones like distortion on my aunt to that it just basically gives it a little bit more. Distortion sounds all right but some of the presets suck when I do it with the amps distortion. No complaints here. Great product. ... show more

  • Good for the price
Color: GE100
Definitely good for the price compared to other devices out there, honestly, I would just save the extra money And get a katana MKIi, Which is a little more expensive but way better quality than anything out there not to mention you can program it to your desired effect, unlike this which has all these canned effect which are good butt 50 % are these effect are mah… ... show more

  • Way better than expected.
Color: GE100
This is so good, it lets you make your own presets and combine various effects, amps and distortions at the same time, like if it was one of those extremely expensive pedalboards (of course, not as complete) Some of the stock presets are very cool, but it's cooler to make your own and get your guitar to sound exactly how you want. It also includes a tuner, a looper, an expression pedal (the infamous wah wah) and some drum sounds to improvise a little. (if you think that the pedal isn't saving your presets, roll the right wheel all to the left until you see U01,U02, etc...) ... show more

  • Really nice tones at a good price
Color: GE100
I have had the PE 100 for about a year and it was really nice and somewhat versatile. Just got this GE 100 for the pedal function thinking it would just be the PE 100 with a paddle slapped on it. It’s not. The tone quality is noticeably better and makes my guitar sound really good . The looper that you can record up to three minutes of yourself is really fun. Looping process can be repeated again and again and there is no limit amount of independent layers. Wow. I got this for $75, buy it… ... show more

  • Does it all
Color: GE100
Sounds awesome is extremely versatile in the different types of sounds you can make as a pretty good drum machine good Looper and a pretty good tuner my only complaint would be that it is a little cumbersome to operate as far as setting up your preset options but once you get to hang of the buttons is a great piece specially for the price reminds me of my old Zoom 707 from backMI in the day but honestly better ... show more

  • Many Sounds, Some Good
Color: GE100
I bought this with the hope that -- by using the amp modeling -- I could run my rig directly into a Bose-type stick PA on stage, the same one I use to monitor my acoustic guitar and keyboard. I just wanted to cut down on the stage clutter and maybe not have to haul a separate electric guitar amp to each gig. Unfortunately, most of the tones sound kind of brittle and unnatural. So that didn't work out. I was going to just toss it on my pile of cheap effects that didn't make the cut, but then I tried adding it to my pedal board and running into my usual amp. I switched off all the amp modeling and set the tone controls for my personally programmed effects to around zero. A little additional tweaking and I was able to get some very acceptable and usable tones. These effects are not going to rival high-end boutique pedals, but they do sound good enough for most live applications. The chorusing, phase and different wah effects are all quite nice for the money; I'm still trying to chase down a great distortion/overdrive tone from the thing, though. What I've got now sounds ... OK. Unlike a lot of players, I'm not crazy fussy about tone. I'm just a humble rhythm player, so I'm back in the mix a bit already. So "OK" is good enough for me. On the plus side, the pedal is almost ridiculously easy to program, the display is *very* bright, which makes tuning easy even on outdoor stages, and the build quality seems quite high for the price point. Though I had bad luck with the amp modeling, the effects themselves are usable, if not exactly stellar. I'm hoping to squeeze a few more good sounds out of this pedal in time, but for now, it's filling the bill for my live shows. ... show more

  • Neat
Color: GE100
I'm a professional guitar player and have enjoyed using this at rehearsal. Some of the tones are incredible. Some of the effects like whammy are useless. Built well and easy to use
