I used this to leave in my pond for the summer as something to hook my floats and lily pad to. I attached one end to a cinder block I put in the bottom of the pond about 8 ft down with plenty of rope left over. It works great and has lasted all summer. It has faded into a very light yellow but I am kind of glad because it doesn’t stick out in my pond anymore.
