Ordered the camera for ice fishing on 29 Jan '23; delivered 31st Jan. Did not charge it out of the box. Took it on the ice 6 Feb, only had a glimpse of the bottom before the camera died, so put it on the charger. Used the camera for a short while 14 Feb, then used it the next day for a few minutes, but the battery was almost dead. The reviews had indicated a battery life of 8 to 10 hours, but my battery was not holding a charge. I sent an email to Moocor (could not find any telephone number) indicating my camera was not holding a charge. The very next day I had a response from their customer service! She asked for my purchase order, which I provided. Shortly, I was informed a replacement camera was being sent. I was amazed - Moocor definitely stands behind their product, and their customer service is the best I have experienced (personalized responses). The next day, my replacement camera was shipped, and I received it one day later. Incredibly responsive! Fully charged the replacement camera and it works just fine. Clear picture, very portable, perfect for ice fishing. Just to find out, I ran the camera at home to see how long the battery would actually last - did not get a low battery icon until 10 hours, it ran for 11 hours before I figured that was "good enough" for a days fishing. A couple of notes: do not leave the camera cord plugged into the body of the camera as it seems to drain the battery even though the camera is not turned on; use a loop of fishing line to fasten the weights onto the bottom of the camera as they will then self center; if you want the camera 90 degrees to the cord, the cord does not stay in the channel provided, so you need to use electrical tape to hold the cord in the channel; be sure to pre-position (orient) the camera properly to avoid a view that's skewed. I would strongly recommend this product for it's value for the money, specifically for their superb customer service. I gave it 5 stars for these reasons. Note: you could use this camera to watch your 6 o'clock while hunting, or for short surveillance of an adjacent area. ... show more

I had been searching for something that would work well for ice fishing that didn't break the bank. I'm thoroughly pleased with this product. Performs well in cold temperatures and the adjustable video and camera settings allows for maximum viewing and recording underwater. A con to this is the wire storage, the wire wraps around the back and can sometimes get tangled up. Another con is that it takes a fine touch to get the camera to stay put underwater. The camera likes to spin around and the wire keeps its memory so keeping it on your jig can be tough. All and all it's a good purchase and not bad for the price. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This MOOCOR underwater fishing camera is amazing, we had try it a few times and works great in clear water, even if turned green from the summer algae bloom. This great fishing camera comes with a 4.3 inch HD LCD resembling a typical digital camera back, you can zoom the view up to 4x digital zoom. The camera angle is 130 degree, so you can have a wide open view of what is down the water, The battery life is really good haven’t charger yet, the cable attached to the camera is about 50 inches long, long enough to move it around the water. We haven’t been able to fish but we put it on the creek behind our house and it was so clear, we went to a little lake also not far from where we live, but no luck seen any fishes there. It has 3 bright infrared lights to use also at night and wow they work really great, is so clear even at night the view. This camera is extremely easy to use, portable and very maneuverable., comes with USB charging cable, rechargeable batteries and very sturdy case to keep it safe. We are planning to go fishing soon and I will update my review and post a better video. Overall great quality, excellent underwater camera, everything looks so bright and clear even at night, this is a most have for any avid fisherman, can be use in salt or freshwater.Highly recommended ... show more

My aunt invited my children and I to go fishing at her lake house, my husband hates fishing, so I decided to purchase this camera to get him excited about the trip. It worked!! I’ve never used one before, so I have nothing to compare it to. But this camera is pretty awesome! Right out of the box you can just feel the quality. It’s solid and Very well constructed, it came beautifully packaged as well. This camera is a pretty impressive gadget. it made fishing almost too easy. Which was terrific for my husband! The picture quality under water is absolutely amazing! You can vividly See, clear as day, exactly where the fish are, and whether or not they like your bait as well, even as the sun began to set, the night light option helped extremely, and also surprisingly attracted the fish to us even more.. Battery life was just as advertised we got a little over 8 hours out of this camera.. The cable, very strong, I did not have to worry whatsoever about the camera coming loose and sinking. My kids absolutely love this gadget as well. They cannot wait to go fishing again so we can use it! It would also make for a great gift as well, any man who loves fishing and loves gadgets would appreciate this under water Camera. Totally worth the price! ... show more

    • Great Cam for a year then IR went out.

I loved this cam, battery is great, picture quality good, ease of use good. I used this cam about 25 times in 2 ice seasons. Last night the IR button stopped working. So now i can't use it at night. the regular cam works for daytime. Good for the money, but i'm sure it's cheaply made. I never owned a "name brand" so I can't compare, but this one is priced so I can buy 3 to 1...so in all, I guess it's still a good buy but don't expect it to last 8 years...at least the Infared. ... show more
