My daughter loves this car lock set but it would have been nice if the professional people actually went into the cars to unlock and take out. I suppose the people work for matching purposes though.

    • Not perfect but overall pretty cool
These are really cute and clever. Our kid is having a lot of fun playing with them. But I have a few thoughts: -saying they can be pushed or pulled with the strings makes no sense - you can't push anything with a string. -in fact, the strings/beads are suboptimal - doesn't feel like they're needed, and the photos kind of hide them which reinforces that they don't make a lot of sense -if your kid is so inclined, the beads (or the trucks) can be swung around nunchuk style, which is not great. -the little people it comes with are very cute - they're wood, not plastic, and nicely painted - but it would be really nice if they were attached as "keychains" or something to the matching keys, right now they're sort of extraneous bc the don't interact with the rest of the toy. If i were to redesign these, I'd take the strings off the locks and instead attach them to the wood people and the keys. -the lock function and key slot are kind of hard to maneuver for a small child (age 3) it's prob better for slightly older -you could use these as favors in party bags All that said, our kid hasn't stopped playing with them since he got them, so i'm giving them 5 stars. ... show more

    • Fun for littles who like puzzles
My toddlers are 2.5 and they enjoyed these cars without fully grasping the concept behind them. So you need to match the little person with their face on the key to unlock the vehicle they use. It’s a lot for smaller children to grasp, but my kids do like the cars and can open them assisted. They don’t really get the people to key/car match yet, however. I had thought the car locks would open up to put the people inside but that isn’t the case. The lock just pops open and that’s it. Overall, I think the pieces are good quality, the paint is nicely applied and they are amusing to my children. A win! ... show more
