I love this rug! Its thick and so plush, but still easily vacuum-able ( best of both worlds)! It's not shag ( which I don't like), but still so soft and cushy under foot. The pattern is little more subtle in person, not quite as distinct as the stock photo. The color is creamish, with kind of a light gray tone to it depending on how the fibers are pushed, and the darker parts are like a dark taupe. This rug is so SUPER SOFT! I didn't expect it to be so soft but I am really impressed. It's also pretty thick which is exactly what we needed in our basement family room. The cream color is really pretty. The gray part, is more of a gray/taupe color--very neutral. Loving it so far!

Needed a new living room rug. Wanted one that was comfortable, easy cleaning and would not show every spot of dirt. This fit the bill perfectly. Its a mix of grayish browns, tans and beiges. The patterns and textures are modern yet neutral. It would look natural in many different design styles. Very glad I got it when I did, as the price seems to have increased. The rug is very nice quality and does not move at all. I only gave 4 stars because of the black stains all across the bottom 1/3 of the rug. I had to actually use the carpet shampoo machine on it before I could use it. The black stains did come out, but it worried me at first! I had read reviews that some other customers had the same problem.... Amazon needs to check the quality control in the packing dept. It looked like it happened before it was rolled up in the warehouse. I do love the rug and the stains did come out fairly easily with my steamer... ... show more

This rug is even better looking in person, and is so soft. However, it has a horrible, overwhelming chemical smell and sort of a greasy coating. This rug is polypropylene with a rough non-latex backing and is made from USA and imported fibers. What I've found is that this style of Mohawk rugs has a strong chemical odor, but their nylon rugs with latex backing, made in the USA do not smell at all. This rug is so pretty, I wish they would make it non-stinky! ... show more
