    • ATTENTION 2 FOOT LENGTH BUYERS!

This review is only for the 2’ length. (I also bought the 3 foot lengths and am very pleased with them). The product I received, 2 foot length, uses mogami’s W2893 “miniature” quad cable. This is considerably thinner and has higher capacitance and resistance than the longer lengths which use W2534 cable. (At these lengths this is negligible...but why not use the thicker??? We anal audiophiles love overkill!) Also, this cable is too short to be looped through Mogami’s standard plastic packaging so most of it dangles out the bottom leaving them subject to shipping damage...they arrived in individual soft envelopes and one cable was badly kinked. The “spiral wrapped shield” used on the studio version provides outstanding shielding but is prone separation if handled roughly or kinked. This is why the “stage version” uses braided shielding...slightly less effective than spiral wrap but much more robust. The 3’ Mogamis are 5 stars for sure, but I’m going to try bluejeans cables “canare” quadstar for my 2’ lengths. ... show more

I own other Mogami Gold Studio cables and I needed a short cable and ordered the 2ft thinking I would get the same exceptional thick cable that I’m used to. Unfortunately, I receive this Mogami 2893 Mini Quad Microphone Cable with the 2ft model. If it was clear in the description I would NOT have ordered this cable. Buyers please beware! If you want a thick cable like the rest of the Mogami Gold Studio Microphone Cables then order 3ft or above—stay away from this 2ft cable or stay away from Mogami all together.     • 2' Length Is Perfect

I purchased and I'm using the 2' length. The 2' length is the W2893 Mogomi cable as noted by another reviewer. I do not know if the Mogomi W2534 is used in the longer lengths. I haven't purchased them here. However, I don't agree with the prior reviewer's criticism of the cable. The thinner weight of the 2' length is probably appropriate for this short length. The W2534 cable does have a lower impedance by 1/3 but that is canceled out by being 1/3 or more longer. I use the 2' length as an interconnect between my Schiit Bifrost 2 DAC and my THX AAA 789 amp. It is perfect this type of use. It sounds amazingly clear, and quiet. The dynamic range is excellent. I love it. ... show more

    • Excellent cables for hi-if use as well as professional PA and studio applications.

If you want to spend under $100 for a pair of balanced cables, here is your best bet. They are well made and nice sounding cables. Mine are being used between a preamp and amplifier in a high-end rig. If you don’t want to go nuts on cables, these will get you most of the way there at a fair price.

    • Basic Cable that we need with super superior quality

When it comes to cable, we use to, just get any cable. But it really wise, choose good cable. It will be cleaner...and anyway, cable is long last ting, at least, it is not easy to break...just invest once and we have no further problem
