I’ve been looking for a good winter jacket when I saw this one. I looked at the reviews and decided to try it. I was skeptical at first when it arrived. The box was small for the jacket. When I opened the box and it was vacuum sealed. I opened the bag an it immediately like quadrupled in size. I tested it out and fits great. I wear XL but I ordered it XXL because of the inner layers I will wear with it. The jacket is comfortable and definitely keeps you warm. I was sweating in 40 degree weather.     • It’s BIG - a lot of jacket for not a lot of money
Size: X-Large Color: Dark Gray
I needed a cheap jacket for a quick trip to the Andes mountains in South America. This one will do. I am 6’4”, 193 lbs., and this XL jacket is VERY big on me. I often wear a 2XL jacket in some brands. In this one, I could probably wear a large. But I will keep this one, as I can wear layers underneath it easily. Seems decent quality - good bulk and loft without being heavy. You can see where the corners were cut though to hit this price point, but it looks more expensive than it is. The zipper is a YZK rather than the quality YKK that you often find on jackets - a blatant knock-off. That said, it seems to work fine, we will see how long it holds up. The hood also seems very big - plenty of room to wear a bulky hat underneath, but it’s stiff, and the cinches on the sides don’t seem to be very effective. One thing I don’t like is that there is only one snap at the top of the zipper flap, and one snap at the bottom, and nothing in between. I would have like to see at least two more in the middle to ensure no draft thru the zipper flap. I also am not enamored with the cuff closures at the end of the sleeves. They are stiff, and don’t conform well at the wrists. That means that you will really have to cinch them tightly, and even then, it seems that snow or water could easily get in, or there will be a draft of cold air. At least I can wear another layer under the jacket with a tighter fitting cuff and that will help keep the cold out. All in all, a decent, but not perfect jacket, at a very inexpensive price. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Hubby loves this jacket. Keeps him warm on our early morning walks. Says it’s comfy too. The other coat he had made swishing noises every time he swung his arms. This makes no noise. Plenty of zippered pockets. Removable hood. In the short time we’ve had it, it has been a blessing. The quality is very good and should last a long time. The fit is perfect.     • Nice jacket, great price!
For $42.78 delivered, this is a great jacket! 5’10”, 177lbs and the large is roomy, a medium would probably fit well too. This is a true winter jacket but not too thick/heavy, the lining is soft and warm. Tested the waterproofing by turning on a water hose about 1/2 flow and forced it directly against the fabric for 30 seconds = the inside remained dry. The seams don’t appear to be taped and the zipper @ the hood probably means that over time in rain or snow some moisture might get through, but for $43 I wouldn’t expect expedition clothing performance. I live in South Texas and occasionally need a warm coat in our few cold Winter months. As a result I didn't want to spend a lot money on a coat; but I wanted and need something inexpensive, light weight and warm. This coat seems to fit the bill.
