It does what it claims, it will fit the average holders out there. It almost looks like it is painted the chrome color it is (but it isn't painted). It is super shiny, but for under 2 bucks, your toilet paper will be properly supported, stay on the holder, and that is why you are buying it. I appreciate that Moen offers a cheap solution, I really do. For many, just anything that works, works. I got it as a stand-in for someone until they could hunt down a match for their more uniquely-colored holder. But if looks matter to you, and your holder is not shiny chrome, (it will stand out against real chrome), then get a real metal one. Otherwise, get it and be glad it is not ten bucks or more. The roller was fine - just didn't fit my dispenser. The tips that on the ends that are received by the dispenser were too large. Not a defect, just not the right replacement.

For me, this was the perfect replacement TP spindle, and the price is Enjgreat compared to everything else on here. Make sure when you're buying that you check that both the length of the spindle and the ends are correct for the TP holder you have. They are not all the same. Five minutes with a tape measure and my broken spindle were all I needed to be sure that this one would work for me. Oh also be aware that the spindle is PLASTIC. Stainless steel or chrome, whatever they're calling it, is the color not the material, although the price probably gave that away. Enjoy! ... show more
