This lamp is lovely. I am really pleased with it. It was carefully wrapped and I unwrapped it, plugged it in, and it worked. My only irritant was I thought the list on the first page of the surprisingly thick booklet was a table of contents. It was not. That list was the only English instruction. The rest of the booklet was that same list in many languages. So, the lamp turns on and off, Ican dim it, but using Bluetooth, and the other things it will do…..? My savvy daughter also looked at the list, and turned the page to read the instructions, and was also perplexed. It’s lovely though, and I will play with it and see if any of us can figure it out. ... show more

I ordered this lamp to put on my desk. Firstly, let me say that the features that you get are great. The ability to wirelessly charge your phone, the dimming options on the lamp itself, and the bluetooth speaker are all great. In terms of function, this thing does a great job. The speaker was actually the biggest surprise to me. The sound quality is better than I expected and it gets plenty loud. It also looks fantastic. It is not going to illuminate a whole room, but for accent lighting it gets the the job done well. Now the problems: for the amount of money I paid for this, I would have expected a much more sturdy construction. The "tree" is made of plastic. For the money, I would have expected metal. The base is made of very lightweight plastic, I would have liked to see some heavier materials, even a heavier plastic would have been nice. Metal base plate with plastic covering would suffice. It does not feel sturdy, I think if I knocked it off my desk once, that would be the end of it. Again, that is not something I would expect from a cheapo lamp. Or even most lamps, but for the money, this thing should be a bit more solid. Overall, I like this product. Some sturdier construction would bump me up to the 4-5 star range. I could live with a few less features if that allowed the manufacturer to produce a more sturdy product. Or, bump the price up and keep the existing features, but build the thing properly. I would not mind paying $50 more if I felt that the end product would last longer, and look/feel more solidly constructed. ... show more

I have had a lamp on a timer in my living room. I noticed that it was too bright this last winter driving up to the house at night. I bought this for a lower light in my living room. My décor is Asian and so this style fit in. The fact that it was Bluetooth was a bonus. I was pleasantly surprised that the speaker is of good quality. Now I can have wonderful background music in my house during the day and light in the evening. It was safely packaged as well. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have to turn Bluetooth off to be able to listed voice notes in messages when I’m listening to music in my phone, sometimes it plays the voice note in the speaker and the mayority of times it won’t play them, so I have to turn Bluetooth off and then on after listening to the voice note. Then I have to go and press the button on the lamp to turn the Bluetooth on in the lamp cause once you unpair the Bluetooth on the lamp doesn’t stay on. That’s annoying. ... show more

This is a good looking lamp, but it has some short comings. The lamp (on it's brightest setting) is not very bright, and the wireless charger is slow. I'm not saying not to buy it, but understand what it's intended for, just ambient light

This lamp has such a unique look. People just can’t believe it’s also a decent speaker and a phone charger. It Is perfect for a guest room as it has everything needed. Actually buy two, you’ll want one in your room as well.

    • Great design idea but poorly made

The disappointment I felt when this lamp arrived was pretty significant. I love the design and the features, but it is so poorly implemented as to be a let down. For $150, no way... Pros: The design is really great The bluetooth speaker is fine Cons: -Not functional: it's so dim as to be purely ornamental. Sitting directly at my bedside, it is not even bright enough to read a book by. Might as well be a night-light. -Tiny: It is very small, sitting too low to cast what little light it emits over any usable area. -Cheap materials: The trunk of the tree is plastic as is the rest of the lamp except for the lampshade which is very thinly cut wood (they claim). It feels and looks cheap when you see it in person. -Wireless charging: Hit or miss. as in it's very easy to miss the sweat spot so you end up fiddling your phone around finding the charging area for as long as it would take to just plug the stupid thing in -How many Amazon reviewers does it take to change a light bulb? More than one, I guess, because it is not possible to do that with this lamp, as far as I can tell. I hope the bulb lasts forever! I really wanted to like this lamp. There are so few available with the great idea of a built in wireless charger. But.. I can't. It's just not a good lamp. ... show more
