This has been an awesome rug for us. We actually got it for camping. We have a pop up camper and we like to put a rug down underneath the awning of our camper, by the door to catch dirt and debris before we all get into the camper. This is perfect. It has a bit of shag to it, so it caught the debris nicely, and it was thick enough that we didn't have to worry about it flying away when we had wind. After we were done with our trip, we easily folded this rug up, put it into a garbage bag, and threw it right in the washer when we got home. It washed up so nicely and we are looking forward to using it again next year on all of our camping trips! ... show more

I really didn’t think it was going to be such a soft rug, but it’s extremely soft and pleasant to walk on. I’m still on the fence about whether I like the striped look or not, but it’s growing on me. I’m very happy with this rug, plus it’s priced around $40 for a 5x7. Definitely better than those shag type rugs that are in the same price range. ... show more

PRO: 5x7 size fits the seating area in our living room. Rug is SO SOFT; wonderful on bare feet. NOT what I would call "shaggy"; rug is definitely low pile. Much easier to vacuum. The non-slip backing isn't solid "rubber" like a lot of rugs; this rug has raised small rubber "nubs" all over the back. No slipping on our LVP flooring. Almost no smell right out of the box. Folds were gone after hanging rug outside for 1 day. Rug seems well woven but is light enough for 1 person to fold up & carry. CON: The "line pattern" mentioned in the description is distinctive. We ended up moving the rug to another room because the lines didn't match the lines/seams in our LVP floor. Despite our personal design problems with this rug, I can definitely recommend it. This review is for the Serenhom 5x7 Area Rug (Grey/White, 5x7 Feet). At first I wasn't certain about this rug. It arrived shrink wrapped and bundled up. The appearance was that it might be a rough texture. However, this rug is promoted as being "woven with ultra-soft fibers, which are softer and more comfortable than traditional rugs". And to this I will agree -- this rug is super soft!! I was also anticipating the rug might be 'slippery' on a wooden floor. However, it comes with some grippy dots on the back that help it to stay in place. This was a huge bonus! This will help prevent the rug from slipping if someone runs on it too quickly, and should also help hold the edges down. I selected this rug for my son's room at college, and it will work perfectly! The colors are right up his alley and it will cover enough of the floor to make his room comfortable and perhaps a little warmer in the winter. Overall a really nice rug at a really nice price -- highly recommended! ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised at how SOFT this is. I know it's promoted as soft, but I expected it to be from a vastly different opinion of what soft means. Basically, my feet feel good on it barefoot which is more than I could ask for. I put this in my home office under the desk so I can keep my feet on it whenever I am working from home or even gaming. It's really nice. It's just thick enough to provide some comfort to the feet without being overly thick and obnoxious. I like that it comes nicely bundled up when shipped, popped right out with no real issues. I got this for the laundry room. It is very nice - no shedding! The size is perfect for the room and easy to clean. There is not much padding on it though which is OK for the laundry room but may be a little thin without padding for a hardwood floor.

I'm super impressed with the quality of this rug for the price point. The fabric is sooo soft, and it almost feels like a cross between a blanket and a rug. I really love walking on it with my bare feet. The color is really nice, and the blend of the rows flow nicely in the design. The back of the rug has no-slip material, which is great so I don't have to buy a mat for under the rug. The rug came well packaged with no snags or defects. Since it was pressed together for a long time during shipping, there are lumps in the carpet, which will definitely come out after some walking.
