This was medium-easy to assemble and install. Better directions would have helped. I found it a bit confusing. However, I was able to figure it out after a few minutes. The matte black looks great and matches my home's theme. It worked with the dimmer switch already in place, and I could reuse my dimmable bulbs from the previous light to this one without any problems. We have a kitchen that needs new lighting. The old flouracent light is not lighting it up well after the renovation. We got this since there's so many bulbs that it will add a lot of light and cover the whole kitchen. The problem is the base at the top is not wide so you have to get it just right to cover the original hole. The second problem is that the mount to the ceiling is on the side instead of at the bottom with screws so getting the right angle with dodging the wires is difficult and frustrating. Third is the rods are lose and don't hold tight. Good parts is that the black matches the matte black trim and the light is incredible when you add daylight white light LED bulbs. ... show more

The Sunwish Sputnik Chandelier is an interesting ceiling light. First, I need to mention just how ridiculous the product photo's are by Sunwish. The Chandelier, as they call it, literally looks like it's 6 feet wide or larger in their photo's. The actual ceiling light measure a mere 20" wide without the light bulbs. That's a bit deceiving. Besides that, the ceiling fixture ships more compact than I was expecting and takes a few minutes to assemble. I wish they would have devised a more sensible way to connect the lights internally besides leaving the customer to physically connecting the 12 total wires to the ceiling fixture power. After assembly and installation, I'm pleased with the results. With 6 lights spread out the way it is, I am able to get way better lighting across the the different zones on my office. I ordered the brightest, dimmable lights I could for it and will install a dimming switch to adjust the intensity. Right now, it's freakin' bright and I love it for projects. But when I need to chill and do work, it's enough to fry my brain so I look forward to that dimmer switch. In the pics I provided, you will see the original "before" ceiling fixture, the unboxing and assembly then the final installation of the Sunwish Sputnik Chandelier along with the bulbs I plan to use with it. At the time I took the final pic, I did not yet have all the bulbs I needed so I used the existing ones in case the photo looks odd to you. Bottom line on this ceiling light is I like it a lot and despite the hassles installing it, I'm glad it's in and it breaths new life into my otherwise dreary office space. ... show more
