I have one sitting on the entryway side table. There is no outlet there . I was going to get an electrician to install an outlet , but no need now. The second one I have next to my bed side. There is a lamp just over my head I could turn on , but it is too bright and would wake my husband and start the dog barking when in the past Ive turned it on. This light with one gentle tap given on lowest level gives just enough light to see whatever I need to do without waking them both up. Extremely sime to charge with they run low. ... show more

We were at a restaurant and they had a light similar to this. It was made by some modern brand, and when my nephew found it, it turned out it was really expensive like over $100. I found these and thought I’d give them a try. They’re so cool you just touch the top and they light up The area below the lamp not above it. They’re great for say outdoor dining, an area of a desk where you only want a certain portion lit up. I really like using two on the dining room table. I move them around depending on when I need them and they’re just great. My only criticism would be that the charger should not be on the top, because it takes away greatly from the aesthetic of the lamp , if the charger were underneath and hidden, that would make these one of my favorite purchases ever. ... show more

Bought these to replace two Novanta lights I bought from Amazon that lasted only ONE charge! I was so disappointed in them but realized others must make a good quality light and I think I just found them with these lights.
