The assembly of this LED light is not complicate. The LED light certainly works well and very bright. You can dim it as well. The remote has the choice of controlling four different part of LED light. But it only work as a whole.

Reading reviews almost kept me from buying this but I gave it a try anyway. As a carpenter/electrician it wasn’t very hard to install It took longer to unwrap the protection paper and packing than to assemble it and hang in It only comes with picture directions so it’s pretty straightforward Has a dimmer and different light hues Overall pleased with it! ... show more

This was a great bright light for the kitchen but after 9 months it stopped working. It was a bit difficult to install and the connection wire were flimsy as other reviews mentioned. Despite that we got it working and was just as described. Unfortunately, after 9 months it started periodically not turning on, even with the remote control. Fortunately, we also have pot lights in the kitchen so would us that while it would go out. Then one day, it just never came back on. Totally a waste of money for the price and 9 months of use. Ended replacing with completely different design light fixtured and no issues at all. ... show more

Update: I have initially left a review complaining the color circulation after every wall switch on/off and have contacted the seller for any remedy. Seller was really willing in helping to improve the product. Although product still has the issue, I am raising the review to 5 stars for great customer service. Just make sure if the product works for you before purchase. ________________________ Color temp circulates when wall switch is switched on/off. Much smaller than images show. Seller If you can provide some sort of update so that the color temp would stay fixed, would be much better. ... show more

Now that it's up on the ceiling, it's nice. but there are so many things wrong with this product and its documentation that I would never recommend it to anyone. In order: - This fixture does not use a standard bracket that would allow it to mount to a ceiling box. Instead it has a bar that need to be screwed into the ceiling using four anchors. - If the intent is to align the fixture with the wall, you are in for some trial and error. The bar needs to be mounted on the ceiling blind, and at an angle somewhere around 43 degrees. In reality, you are going to mount the bar, mount the fixture and find out that it's off by a couple of degrees, requiring you to take it down, redo three of the four anchors and try again. This process is beyond frustrating. - The light comes with a completely different power supply then is pictured on the one-page manual. The power supply is not connected to the fixture in any way and just lays loosely on top of it. -Mounting the fixture means standing on a ladder, holding the connector block with one hand, the wires from the ceiling box with the other hand and balancing the fixture on your head. Alternatively, two people of side-by-side ladders should work too. Aligning the two screws to fix the light to the bar, similarly, requires two people, or next-level acrobatic skills. - the electrical connector block is awful. I recommend you remove it and replace with approved wire nuts or Wago connectors. - finally the remote is cringeworthy. The manual for the remote is printed on a slip of paper the size of a grocery receipt, and it contains the same meaningless, Google translated drivel in five languages. After some trial and error the function of all but the bottom four buttons are easy to figure out. The remaining four buttons seem to allow you to group multiple fixtures in various groups and control them together .... I think. All of that said, now that's it's up on the ceiling, it's interesting to look at and it provides good, mostly indirect lighting. Its ability to change from warm to cool is very nice and it has functioned flawlessly from minute one. The power supply is quiet too. With three or four minor tweaks, this could be a great product. ... show more

I'd like to give it 2 1/2 stars for an average. THE GOOD: It works VERY well. The "cool" gets brighter colors than anybody would want, and the "warm" gets VERY warm, and everything in between. You can finetune your light environment by working in harmony with the brightness. The brightness control adjusts the brightness from nightlight level to extremely bright. I hope it lasts. It's sturdy. It's beautiful. THE BAD: The mounting. !!! ZERO STARS !!! They don't send you mounting bracket that fastens to a threaded post from your box in the ceiling. Instead, they send you a VERY FLIMSY mounting bracket that has no hole in the center for the threaded post. and it is flat, no L shape. You're supposed to mount the entire fixture with four small plastic drywall anchors. Well, I tried it, but the mounting bracket would not hold the fixture up. It just bent. I could not mount it. If I did somehow manage to mount it, it would be a safety hazard. It could fall at any time. The wires would not catch the fixture, they would just come loose from the plastic wire connector clips they send. This product should not be sold with that mounting system. It's ridiculous. MY REMEDY: I found a piece of angle iron in my workshop and drilled all the necessary holes to fasten it to the bracket they sent. It now mounts only to the threaded post, and the angle iron is absolutely rigid. By mounting the fixture to the post, it's much easier to align the fixture square to the room.
