I was looking for a plush rug for our hardwood floor that would make it more comfortable for our toddler. Yes this rug is extremely soft BUT it does shed and it is nearly impossible to clean. It is definitely not toddler proof, I'm sure it is very practical for a low traffic area or just for decoration. Anything that gets dropped on the rug almost instantly becomes entangled in it, it's easier to cut things out of it than vacuum. I love the softness. I put it in front of my fireplace. I bought this because I wanted a soft place to lie but wasn’t worried about it getting to dirty. It is economical and a good value for the price. So far we have only had to vacuum it and that has worked well.

The color was perfect. The silly hairy of it ? Nailed it. Soft but maybe on the slightly cheap side of soft. But of course with 2 days my (young ) kids got crap tangled up in it. My lizard pooped on it and hand to be hand washed and put on the fence to dry. Only knocked a star for the pain in the ass to clean.
