Theses are definitely great controllers I got one I was wondering if it would be worth it. So many negative reviews I don’t understand why because this is as advertised I think it’s a great controller I do wish the battery was better in it that’s the only slight negative thing other than that it’s still worth the money. Buy the 3 year product protection and your good. This isn’t going to make you a pro everything takes skill but it’s definitely worth buying in my opinion I just bought a second one. ... show more

I received this controller on April and it has stick drift do not buy I had contacted seller and no resolution on changing it or having it sent back to them to fix it payed almoust $300.00 down drain I cannot believe this expensive controller and no one can help

    • App crashes constantly!
Was really looking forward to this. Was debating whether to go with this or Scuff controller. Wish I would have gone with Scuff. I liked the feel of the controller, it wasn’t much heavier and looks nice. The problem I had is the app. It constantly crashes. While your trying to program the controller through the app, it will crash constantly and you have to restart, hurry to program, before the next crash. I spent and extra $50-$60 dollars on unlocking mods to use. What a waste of money. I just returned the controller but lost the mods unlock money. I recommend not buying this and find another brand. Scuff looks nice. ... show more

I'm not recommending anybody to buy this modded controllers. Triggers get stock, you have to constantly updated in the app and make sure is connected to the phone to avoid controller from acting up. I've only use it for a month and a half and I can take it anymore with. Defenectly buying from another company. Mods are trash BTW. For the price is better to buy a cronus zen or a titan two. ... show more

This thing is very expensive, only works with sum games, and you still have to buy other mods if you want them... if that wasn't bad enough had it ONE day and the buttons are starting to stick so ya I wouldn't recommend this especially for destiny 2

This remote is a big waste of money. The right trigger gets stuck. The mod app is always crashing and can’t seem to keep the mods set. I wouldn’t recommend this remote to anyone. Just buy a strike pack

10/24/22 - 4 paddle update: Got my controller back with the 4 paddle upgrade - this is heaven (able to remap the 4 paddles to any button and or mod I want). 10/24/22 - other controller comparison: SCUF - My scuf reflex pro controller has been sent back for repairs 3 times. Its unreliable, triggers are not really hair triggers, and it just inferior to this ModdedZone controller in so many ways (doesn't have the TitanOS / mods, doesn't feel premium like this ModdedZone, etc). I would never recommend Scuf and it in no way compares to this controller. EXTREMERATE - Extremerate makes great stuff. While it looks like ModdedZone does use some extremerate parts, a fully modded PS5 controller with all the extremerate parts does not compare )and would be just as expensive - and still wouldn't include the mods and or come close to the quality of the ModdedZone). The ModdedZone triggers are a thousand times better than the extremerate hair triggers (they feel firm, respond faster, and have a nice click). With extremerate paddles, you can only have 3 profiles that you have to manually click a button to switch and it only does simple button remapping. With ModdedZone, you can have unlimited profiles, switch via the mobile app, and can do button and mod mapping. And you'd end up spending the same amount of money upgrading your stock PS5 controller with all the upgrade needed to try and come close to the ModdedZone (if you didn't destroy you controller in the process), and still its not even close. Extremerate doesn't give you mods and or mods that are controllable and updatable through a mobile app. With ModdedZon, you also get warranty on the entire controller and its parts, tech support, and paid upgrades (i.e. ship them the controller and they'll mod it with new paddles, shells, buttons, etc for a small fee) - this does not exist with Extremerate. DUALSENSE EDGE - This controller hasn't been released yet but it only has 2 rear paddles and doesn't have the mods. 10/19/22 update: Still loving this controller. Also discovered the vendor will upgrade your controller for a few bucks (ex. Just sent them mine to change from a 2 paddle controller to a 4 paddle). Finally, I tried using the xbox elite 2 controller with a Cronus zen as an alternative. That experience was awful - so much setup, specific steps you have to do each time, odd behavior, and lag. This ModdedZone is still your best option for a class A controller (and this includes the new ps elite controller which only has 2 back paddles) with a built in, optional modder. Original post: Don’t listen to the other reviews - this is the best modded controller I’ve ever owned (it works, its beautiful, and its easy to use). Let me break it down (I own the PS5 Red Extreme, FPS Pack, Anti-Recoil, Paddles, Hair Triggers, Tactical Buttons)). BTW - I have not been compensated for this review in any way (I just love this controller). THE MODS & APP All the mods you’d expect are here - rapid fire, auto-aim, etc. If you didn’t get them bundled with your controller (like mine), then you can purchase them in the app for a few bucks. The app connects to the controller quickly and flawlessly. Then it’s super simple to setup a profile and fine tune the mods. And you can super fine tune each mod - from timing, to mapping buttons, to all kinds of fancy stuff I’ve never seen in another modded controller. I’ve had the controllers where you press/hold Ito toggle mods and watch the flashing lights (I even have a modded PS5 controller with a dedicated mod button). Configuring mods through an app is night and day compared to button combinations. It’s the sort of thing you can’t appreciate until you use it. CONTROLLERS, TRIGGERS, PADDLES, & THUMBSTICK The controller looks beautiful and feels premium. The brushed aluminum blood red on the front looks stunning. The logo on touchpad lets everyone know you’ve gotten something special here. The hair triggers is my favorite part. It feels like a soft mouse click, giving your faster response times in games. The paddles are my second favorite and you can map them to whatever you want (buttons, triggers, d pad, mod toggle, etc). The rubber gripping on the back looks and feels like something sony should have added all along. Not only does it give you better grip, but feels easier on the hands (especially if you tight grip the controller). Then there are the interchangeable thumbtacks. The default ones they ship with feel just right - they are taller then the standard PS5 ones and are soft & textured for better grip. There is no drifting - the thumbsticks are perfectly centered. WHY NOT STICK WITH THE STANDARD PS5 CONTROLLER I have a lot of issues with the PS5 controller. Its white (and prone to getting dirty), it has sharp plastic edges, the thumbsticks are too low and don’t have grip, the triggers require too much pull to activate, and it feels like what it is - hard plastic. I wanted a premium feeling controller like Xbox Elite Series 2 controller. Grip on the back to make it more comfortable to hold, paddles and hair triggers for quickness, taller/textured thumbsticks, and something that looked a little better. WHY A MODDED CONTROLLER I want to have fun but certain games I just can’t get the response time / timing needed. Maybe because I’m old, maybe because I don’t spend 168 hours per week gaming, maybe because I’m just not good at the game. But the controller improvements (hair triggers, paddles, thumbsticks) and mods give me a little advantage to where I can hold my own. Multiplayer today will already put you against PC players and other players with upgraded, modded controllers, keyboards/mice, adapters, etc, players using glitches, lag switches, etc. This helps level things a little. And you can easily turn down and turn off mods for when you don’t need them or shouldn’t be using them. WHY THIS MODDED CONTROLLER I had my eye on this controller for a while but the high price and minimal (and mostly negative) reviews turned me away. So I bought a custom silicone skin for the stock controller and thumbsticks but I wasn’t satisfied. Then I looked into controller modding where you take the controller apart and swap out stuff. I didn’t want to risk that. So I bought a pre-modded controller online with a dedicated mod button and two back buttons (not paddles). When the mods worked, they worked but that was a small portion of the time. The controller would go crazy and I was constantly resetting it. And the controller didn’t have hair triggers or taller thumbsticks so I’d still have to mod my new modded controller to gain those features. So finally I decided to give this controller a chance. Should have done that from the beginning. ANY NEGATIVES? Shipping took a while (9 days from order) and you can’t dock this in the standard charging dock (because of the back paddles). Profile presets are severely limited to just COD games - would love to see a variety of games here, maybe allow for user community submissions, pretty it up with some graphics instead of plain text, etc. But you don’t need to use profile presets as you can just create your own. Finally, the black is more prone to showing dust and oil vs the white (as expected). But that’s it - these are really nitpicks. ... show more
