  • Does What It's Supposed To Do
I've never owned a personal blood pressure monitor before, so I didn't really know what to expect where performance and quality is concerned. My doctor gave me some medication which, in rare cases, can cause problems with your blood pressure and heart rate. Since I was already on heart medication because my heart has premature ventricular contractions, which means, essentially, that I have occasional extra heartbeats. So my doctor wanted to monitor my blood pressure and heart, and recommended that I buy a personal blood pressure monitor. I did my due diligence and researched until I found one that was highly recommended, and this one seemed the most promising. I won't bore you with a lengthy, detailed review. I'll just say that this one works, and it works well. The readings it takes are consistent, and are always in the same range as blood pressure readings which are taken at my doctor's office. I use this in conjunction with an app on my cell phone which helps to track blood pressure and heart rate readings, and this has been invaluable in documenting how my heart is performing over time (and especially in documenting that I'm not having any of those rare problems my doctor was worried about, and that the new medicine got along with my heart medication). This one fits snugly on your wrist and is held in place with velcro (I'm a big guy but have plenty of strap left, so it should fit most people). Once in place, there's a button on the bottom which you press to get it started. And that's pretty much it. There's an audible voice which tells you to be quiet and hold the cuff at heart level, and then it tightens up and slowly releases to get your blood pressure and heart rate, and it tells you what it is. Easy as pie. As I said, the readings this device took have always been in the same range as the readings taken by my doctor. This is about as painless, and as accurate, as it gets where a home / personal blood pressure monitor gets. If I have one complaint, it's that the screen is not backlit. That can make it harder to read if you're not in ideal lighting, since it's black letters against a light grey background. But unless you're taking your blood pressure in the dark, this shouldn't be a problem. And I'm sure it saves batteries. That's the only complaint I have about this device, and that's a minor complaint. If the one I have should stop working, I'll but another one without hesitation. For me, that's all that really needs to be said about it. ... show more

  • Very reliable and accurate at an excellent value!
I have to check my blood pressure regularly every single day and often multiple times a day as I have an autonomic condition that makes my vitals fluctuate to extremes! This is the second one of this particular model that I’ve had. It matches the manual readings in my cardiologist’s office and when have had visiting nurses! Often, these at home cuffs lose their accuracy and need recalibrating in a year. However, my previous version of this model stopped working, but held its calibration for several years! The quality for the value is extraordinary. Peace of mind of reliability for under $20 when was on sale. Even the regular price is extremely affordable! It’s extremely lightweight and portable and fits in my purse. Easy to set up. Easy to use! Has settings so two people can use and have their own readings saved in memory separately. You can enable or disable the talking feature. Perfect for those who maybe can’t see the display and it can tell you your readings! It also gives you your average pressure, as well! The memory is a great feature to follow your trends and to show your physician. Highly recommended! The best wrist cuff BP monitor in my opinion! ... show more

  • Great product
I've used this four times a day, twice in the morning and the evening for a month before writing this review. I'm very happy with this product. It's easy to use and not painful. It reads the stats in a pleasant voice and has large numbers for easy reading. My doctor recommended I monitor my blood pressure daily. The arm one hurts in the doctor's office (I hate it) so I researched this wrist band one. Now, I don't mind measuring my blood pressure daily. It's simple to use. It's automatic so no need to worry if you're doing everything correctly, just wrap around your wrist the band inflates for the correct amount of time, then reads it. The reviews from nurses state that it's accurate. If your not sure about accuracy you can test it against your doctor's. I recommend this product for home monitoring. ... show more

  • Decent for Quick Checks, But Not Always Reliable
The wrist blood pressure monitor is convenient and easy to use, but it’s hit or miss on accuracy. Sometimes it feels like it's guessing my BP based on how much coffee I had that morning. When it works, it’s great for a quick check, but I wouldn’t bet my health on it without double-checking with a traditional cuff. It’s handy in a pinch, just not as reliable as I’d hoped. Use it for general trends, not precise readings ... show more

  • Great performance at a Great price
I had researched different Blood Pressure devices, both on Amazon and from other online providers. After ordering another brand of BP tracker at a higher price, I returned it for poor performance. To be honest, I thought this one was going to be “too good to be true” which is why I didn’t start with this one. After seeing that it was rated 4.4 with over 45,000 reviews and an excellent price while the more expensive one didn’t work, I ordered it. It’s easy for my husband to use himself and is accurate. The only thing I didn’t like is I couldn’t get the date/time set, but that might be user error. My husband’s home healthcare nurse has the same one!! So glad I bought it!! ... show more

  • Easy to use BP wrist cuff monitor
Great product and very easy to use. The read-out on the digital display numbers are large and easy to read. Which is a plus since we need to keep daily logs the doctor. Super quick and effective method of checking BP and pulse. Easy to use and comfortable as well, no need for bulky equipment. If I ever needed another Blood Pressure cuff again, I’d absolutely get this again! I would highly recommend this for anyone especially the elderly. ... show more

  • First one we have gotten that matched the Doctor's office reading consistently
A friend who is a nurse recommended this to me after I was complaining that our expensive blood pressure monitor was always needing to be recalibrated because it was rarely accurate. This was soooo reasonable and it is easy to use and has been accurate. (We match to the Doctor's office to check it.). Follow the directions carefully for placement, after the first use this is easy. It is also small enough to take with when traveling and has a nice case. Great product. ... show more
