bought this as a present for a 12-month old, as he loves to use every suitable surface as a drum. so the idea was that the drum will be the headliner with the rest being a nice addition that we would introduce during the following weeks. turned out all the other instruments provided more fun and engagement. mostly because the sound of the drum was kind of dissapointing - he could still get more pop drumming on toy boxes or tables. luckily all other instruments were fun and engaging and i would say are of higher quality than the drum (and the tambourine, which uses the same cheap material for drumhead). ... show more

Everything but the tambourine appears to be made well. It’s literally paper! As we were using it as an instrument my hand went through to the other side. No I wasn’t aggressive with it. The drum is made of sheep’s skin. They did not give the same attention to the tambourine. Another reviewer experienced the same issue. Too bad. My toddler loves this 5 piece set, I love the quality and the way they sound and I would recommend to any parent that doesn't want to sleep due to their kids banging on these things at all hours of the day and night.

I ordered these musical instruments for my 2 year old granddaughter and she loves them. They are very sturdy and made with excellent materials. She loves to play with all of the instruments, the drum, the tambourine, the maracas, etc, etc, etc. Highly recommend this product.

My 14-month daughter loves this musical set so much! She can play with these little instruments for a long time. Her patience surprised me! Her favorite ones are tambourine and bongo drum hand bells. She always laughs when I shake the tambourine. I have been looking for some good quality musical toys for a long time and finally I got this one. Each one is made by wood, so it is durable, environmentally friendly, and safer than plastic toys. It comes in a nice box, and it’s packed in a pouch, so it’s a decent gift for friends.
