I bought this to sculpt my own nail charms. Iy works really well and the silicon tool included is perfect for cutting the gel into amaller pieces and sculpting small details. I definitely reccomend wearing gloves while handling it because it's uncured and can give you allergies. I’ve been doing my nails at home for a year now. I’ve learned to do gel tips gel overlay, but this is the easiest I’ve ever learned to do. You literally just scoop it onto a nail form, mold it, put it on your finger and cure it, it is that simple. These nails last they’re stronger than gel nail tips and they don’t fall off. This product is amazing to do 3D. I do my own nails at home and I worked perfectly for me. It is a little difficult to work with but with practice it becomes easier. It last on your nails and it cures really fast. It’s thick and a little sticky but not too bad. I like the fact that it’s very versatile and you can do a lot of designs with it. It worked just as described. It was nonsticky, nonyellowing, and easy to apply to nail forms. If using nail forms, I recommend curing the top for 10 seconds, then bringing your hand out and smoothing out the underneath of your nail, and then curing the rest of the way. That way, when you smooth out the underneath, it won't move around on top and mess up the cuticle area you set. ... show more

I am a beginner and recommend this kit, it comes with a lot of useful things. The only thing that you will need separately is the gel base coat and the UV light. I am 16 (if this helps anyone) and wanted to try this out for the first time. Overall it was a easy process, I just feel like the instructions could have some more direction in them. Sticky/tacky but once you get the hang of it, it gets easier. I like how is has a few directions for different ways you can use the product. HOWEVER, for the way I used it; I feel like there should have been a few more. Mainly on how to use the nail forms, I originally thought it wasn't super difficult but in the end it kinda was and had to go online to figure it out. I also feel like it should say to order a base and top coat since it says to use both. I had ordered some gel polish beforehand but feel like if other beginners were to use this I'd be kinda sad to realize you can't use the product to the best ability. ... show more
