Staying out of town and walking every day to get grocerie. I didn't bring any of my really good day packs, so I needed something quick that was super light, super small, and would haul 20 or 30 pounds at a time sometimes. And this pack has done a really good job of that. It has an integral stuff sack that it apparently will fit in. Honestly, I'm trash at putting stuff back in stuff sacks, so so far I haven't managed. But it is light enough and small enough to fit in my back pocket. Of course, being ultralight, the straps aren't terribly padded and you don't get a really high quality hip strap, etc. But it's still great for a small pack. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. The stitching is pretty good. It'll handle 30 pounds with no problem. I would buy it again for what I'm using it for. ... show more

I bought this MIYCOO Backpack - Ultra Lightweight Packable Backpack:45L to take my gear to my work as an overnight nurse. I bring a fair amount of stuff with me, from my lunch bag to my stethoscope and other nursing gear, to a few things to occupy me when the client's sleeping. This bag fit the bill, is lightweight, has a lot of pockets. The shoulder straps are thinly padded to probably keep the weight down, but they were good for what I need. The zippers and seams seem to be sewn in well. I love how my large water bottle fits snugly into the side holder, with a strap to hold it down. I never have to worry about it like I did with other back packs. There's two water holders, I'm thinking of bringing a thermos as well. I got the green one, and that color is really nice, better than the picture. I also like that the logo and the printing of the size is unobtrusive. The ends of the zippers can lock into each other and hold the zipper closed. The measurements listed are close to what I measured. It really does pack down small. Like other reviewers mentioned, it is water resistant, not water proof. It did leak a little on the bottom seam. But for lighter rain, it was fine for me working for a couple of wet rainy weeks, and I'm keeping it for the wet season here. Definitely a good value for the price. ... show more

    • A very good and roomy backpack
This is a very good packable backpack if you need lots of room to hold things. The side pockets are large enough to hold my large 1L thermos. There’s also plenty of room in the bag to hold all sorts of things. This is indeed a 35L bag as advertised. This also means that the bag doesn’t quite fold down to be very small. In fact, the bag rolls into a ball and tucked inside an included pouch. I’m used to a bag that I can fold down flat into a small square. Unfortunately this is not the bag that does that. The bag is indeed lightweight. However, that means the bag doesn’t have a structure. If you plan on carrying a lot of smaller things with hard edges, the bag will be uncomfortable to carry due to the fact that there’s no padding especially in the back. I ended up using a laptop sleeve to help pad the back since I often take my larger ipad with me. Lastly, the bag material is not waterproof. It is only water resistant. The bag should hold up ok through a very short period of light rain. It will absolutely soak through during a heavy rain storm. I wish the manufacturer include a rain pouch given that this is advertised as an outdoor hiking backpack. The rain pouch wouldn’t affect the pack ability of the bag. I ended up getting a third party rain cover and I kept it in the bag with no issues in rolling the bag and packing it away. Overall, this is a very good auxiliary bag to have when traveling. Despite the shortcomings above, I would still highly recommend this bag. ... show more

I got this as a lightweight replacement for the same size but heavier backpack I already have. This is for a travel carry-on to tuck under my seat, so weight was important. It is for sure lighter than my other pack. It also has deep mesh bags on the side that can easily hold a good sized water bottle. The snap across the front comes with a clip that is also a whistle. It seems to be constructed well, and has reflector material on the back for safety. The internal fabric is water resistant. Things that I did not care for are that the bag it folds into is permanently sewn the the inside bag using up storage room. It is a simple fix to cut it off, but that seems like a bad solution. It also only has one internal zip pocket. My other backpack has multiple zips for keys and documents. I think the lighter weight outweighs the negatives. ... show more
