Very nice, flattering style. The thick band at waist is actually good and holds well, giving good definition to shape. The slit in back is ok length and can be stitched closed if you don't want it. Material is thick, not too thick, with a good stretch and keeps shape smooth. Size is a little on the small side unless you want it very tight. 1xl fit more like large. Length reached below knee. Only issue is the color is not as saturated as should be. There's a slight sheen to the skirt which is nice but makes color look slightly faded. Red and the royal blue. ... show more

I usually wear a medium and purchased an XL so the skirt would "skim." The skirt fits as I had hoped. I am a special educator and am moving (walking, jogging, bending, twisting, kneeling, squating) all day long and find this skirt to be EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE. The fabric is similar to a "scuba knit" you might purchase at a deparment store, is smooth, has a nice sheen to it, stretches well, and has held up to multiple washings (hand-wash cycle on my washing machine; I usually hang-dry although I have dried on low heat a couple of times). I purchased this skirt to wear at a funeral( color theme) I must say even with the extreme heat in South Florida this skirt was the perfect weight and stretch. The color is true as pictured.... as far as sizing I'm plus size) usually wear an 18/20) and I ordered the 3X just to make sure it fit . Now, for the " modest" the slit in the back of considerably but I didn't feel exposed, and trust I've very conscious of things like that. I'm actually checking for a different color. This skirt was the exact length I wanted it to be, I'm 5'9 and it came below my knees. I usually wear a 18 in bottoms so I ordered this in a 3XL. A 2XL would have fit as well but I didnt want the skirt too tight around my belly... so I sized up. It fit perfectly however the stitching on this skirt was HORRIBLE. When I took it out the bag, strings were coming out of the elastic waist band and unfortunately I needed this skirt for this weekend so I am unable to return it and get another one.
