***BEWARE**" Thos item shipped in only its original box, no additional shipping box, with the contents clearly displayed. This is not a concern for me and my use, but buyers who require more discretion should definitely look elsewhere. The box was also damaged and OPEN because it was not taped shut at all. Fortunately it was a nice day, because the driver also ignored all common sense and walked right past my covered porch, where packages are normally left (including another Amazon package today!), and left the box in front of another door completely out in the open. I haven't plugged it in yet. Good size for a 2x4 shelf, good packing *Edit* been running about a month now, this is my second favorite fixture. I like stuff with remotes but in reality I have a bunch of different Amazon sale lights so I can't control anything universally. It really is a great fixture for a 2x4 shelf on a rack, I run it @80% for growing cactus seedlings overwinter along with some short tropical trees ... show more

This is a genuine Samsung LM301D chip. The efficiency of 301B is 220lm/w The efficiency of 301d is 210lm/w There is not a very big difference in performance, but the price is much cheaper. Of course, the 660nm chip is like a cheap epi. The actual maximum output of the mixjoy GL2000 is measured at 240w. The optimal efficiency range of Samsung mid-power LED chips is 0.2W per chip. So I'm thinking of adjusting the output to about 140w and writing it. Since 100w products using 301b chips such as spider farmer or vivosun use 0.4~0.5w per chip, Using the mixjoy gl2000 down to 140w is much better value for money (0.2w per chip) ... show more
