Pretty thick rug. I don't think it is meant for the bathroom ... not plush at all. I feel it's made for use as a floor rug or door mat. It is tough and feels very durable. Will last a long time I'm sure. From what I can see, it is well made, no loose threads or uneven seams. Tassles made it look pretty. I have no serious complains except maybe $40 is a tad expensive? ... show more

I would have given this beautiful Boho style rug a 5 if the descriptions weren't contradictory. I thought I was getting a handwoven rug which it claims in the description, but then says it's machine made. And it said it was cotton, but then said it was polyester and cotton. I expected it to be more terra orange colored, but it's still lovely looking. It has a blend of muted shades of terra, tans, and blues, as was described, and I just misunderstood. It's soft, feels rich and comfortable under your feet, and is very well made - almost looks hand woven. There is a warning on the tag that it is flammable, so you'll want to avoid placing it near high heat like by a fireplace. But overall, it's unique looking, good quality, a generous sized runner rug, and just gorgeous to look at! ... show more

Got this because simple, inexpensive natural fiber rugs are extraordinarily hard to find these days. This is otherwise a very nice, soft rug and seems well made (we'll see how it holds up after a gentle wash!) but it smells like it was stored in a damp warehouse for weeks. I hope the smell dissipates in the wash. The color is true to the photos: it isn't "purple" as the listing described, it visually blends into more of an ambery terracotta from a distance. ... show more

These rugs can go with any decor I can think of, and in any room. They are sturdy and easy to maintain as you can just wash and dry, on the clothes line or dryer. If you line dry or dryer it is best to comb the fringe with your fingers before putting them back down. It's just easier I think. They are soft/strong and the light and dark mixture color reminds me of beach sand. The style and color works beautifully with any decor. I do suggest rug grippers to keep them from getting out of place. These are the original washable rugs before carpet and washable rugs were in style. I'm sure many of us remember them as the were inexpensive and they still are, but it doesn't take away from them being desirable as they are more beautiful than ever.
