I’ve used watch screen protectors before, and each had their advantages and drawbacks. The flexible ones that wrap around the watch require removing the band to clean them. And they get dirty inside easily. All kinds accumulate moisture inside if you’re perspiring, which is very bad for the watch. I go to the gym quite a bit, so that’s a serious issue with me. In my experience, most covers are sold as a set of several colors, but I want only clear. What’s the point of buying a pretty gold colored watch, then covering it up? It looks like these folks came up with a good design…finally! A snap on with a water seal around the top of the face. So these can be easily snapped off and on to clean, and the glass provides excellent protection. I’d much rather break a $10 case than a $400 Apple Watch!! Regarding whether or not the screen hinders touching the watch face, it hasn’t with me. Not a bit! I’m 100% satisfied. Time will tell how quickly the clear case turns yellow. There are materials which can slow that down, but only time and real experience tell the tale. I’m crossing my fingers, but so far I’m very quite happy. So happy, I’ve stocked up on these. My watch is already several years old, and I do everything I can to extend its lifespan. I’ve gone through many covers, wearing the colors off or having them yellow. Turning your device off at night is another way to extend its lifespan. Also, keeping the charge between 30 - 80% is very beneficial. Most people don’t realize lithium ion batteries can have their lifespans doubled or tripled by not fully charging or discharging them. I stocked up on this particular model since I like it so well. I was running low on my other ones anyway. Apple changes designs and sizes regularly. When Apple stops making my size watch, the covers will all vanish. (When keeping plastic items in storage, it's best to keep them in total darkness, where temperature and humidity remain fairly constant.) ... show more
