I’ve had this for about six weeks. So far so good! I’ve read multiple reviews, both good and bad, and although I can’t speak for anyone else’s personal experience, I have not had the problem of water getting under the cover as others have complained about. (But then again, I am not a swimmer or avid exercise enthusiast). The Apple Watch Series 8, 41mm (water resistant not waterproof), that I have, does come with a water ejector option you can find on the list that swipes up from the bottom of the screen and looks exactly like a teardrop. 💧 Once tapped on, the Screen returns to normal with a small teardrop icon at the very top….all you need to do then is press in and hold the dial/button on the side for a few seconds, until the audio alert finishes. (I’m not sure if any of the other reviews with the water issues have already tried to use this opportunity before registering their complaints)…. I do notice that moisture does tend to get under the watch itself sometimes, so I simply remove the Watch to wipe it down. In general I always wear my watch on the opposite hand that I use most often, and have it placed well (about 3/4 inches), above the wrist bone and joint. I use the Apple Watch small nylon mesh Sports Band, which is very flexible and much more comfortable than the standard rubber type Sport Band, (which tends to hold perspiration and/or moisture too close to the skin). Also, whenever I need to do a more thorough or vigorous hand washing, I either remove the Watch, or loosen the band and slip it up over my elbow, until I am finished washing and drying, then put it back in it’s usually place again. As far as the function of the touch screen, I do notice an occasional very slight decrease when utilizing it that I can attribute to my having very dry, (and occasionally rough), fingertips. I use a high quality hand lotion for this. The only drawback is if I use too much lotion at one time it may smudge the screen a bit, but this can easily be wiped clean with a nice soft cotton or microfiber cloth. If you are going to use hand lotion I recommend avoiding the greasier variety). As long as in the future I don’t feel inclined try to backhandedly swat at any fly on the wall again, I imagine I won’t be having any further issues. (That’s a story for another time)! This is the second time I've purchased this. I bought a new Apple watch and purchased this cover right after. I spaced out buying this and wore my watch for months without protection. I was an idiot and thought I had put it on. One day I was looking at all the scratches on my watch and thought it was time to replace my cover!! Ugh, that's when I realized that I hadn't protected my watch. I found my unopened Amazon package with this product inside and put it on. Despite having a few scratches already this cover has prevented further damage. I like that you get a 2 pack because the cover gets scratched fairly easily. I've had mine on for about 4 months and just replaced it last night. I'm kind of rough on it because I'm a nurse and in my downtime, I'm renovating my RV. I have side hustles and I work on cars doing clear bras, wraps, and window tinting and I maintain rental properties landscapes, and building maintenance. For most people, I believe a 2 pack would last much longer than mine did simply because of the manual labor I put mine through. ... show more

I got these cases because I was going to travel and be super active, so I worried a bit about my watch. I figured people said it wasn't too bulky and it's supposed to have tempered glass for the screen protector part instead of TPU (only options for just a protector on the SE as far as I can tell). It seems to do a good job protecting my watch and hasn't gotten scratched itself (not that I've banged it much). However, I find it rather irritating: The case is quite difficult to get on and off (which is a massive pain if you get water under it, since it then has to be taken off). I feel like I'm going to scratch my watch every time I've had to remove it or put it back on--so far, it does seem fine though, so kudos to Apple's materials. The other irritant is that it diminishes the display quality. The touch screen works great, but as you can see in the picture, there are little dots all along the screen which make it more like a PC screen than a Mac liquid/Retina display--the quality difference IS noticeable, especially in sunlight. If this isn't something that bugs you (or if you're really hard on your watch), this is probably a great case for you, but if you don't want to reduce the quality of your display, you're probably better off looking elsewhere. Other than the visual display issue, there's no negative impact on functionality. ... show more

    • Served its purpose and protected my Apple Watch from an impact

Pros: impact protection, cost, touch-screen functionality when dry. Cons: If moisture gets under the screen protector, it will remain present on the watch screen and interfere with touch-screen functionality. If left unattended, this will eventually render the touch screen unusable until the screen protector is removed and the moisture is wiped away. Review: This is my 2nd time buying this product, and I will absolutely buy it again in the future if needed, because it served its purpose and did exactly what it was designed to do by absorbing an impact that cracked the screen protector but left my Apple Watch undamaged. I had this product for 2 years before this occurred. Eventually it took an impact that caused me to need to replace it, but I was happy to do so, considering it saved my watch from that impact. The only issue I've had with this product is that if moisture gets underneath the screen protector, it tends to stay there until you remove the screen protector and dry the moisture to remove it from the screen protector and the watch screen. As the presence of moisture increases, it will eventually render your touch screen unusable until you remove the protector and dry up the moisture on the watch face and on the inside of the screen protector. Since my Apple Watch Series 6 is water-resistant in and of itself, this moisture build-up hasn't had any negative effect on the watch itself.
