Where to start... We ordered this Hoop Skit Twice, the first time it never showed up, and we were severely disappointed. However, we sent in a request fur a replacement about a week ago and Tad-ah! Yesterday the replacement arrived. Fur $20, WOW, it is AMAZING. We bought it in white even though we purr-fur black, but we have black and white dresses, obviously the white hoop skirt will work with both color dresses while a black hoop skirt would just show too obviously under a white dress. This hoop skirt is HUGE, very round, very poofy, and AMAZING. Beautiful and an amazing touch on various dresses and gowns! We feel like such a Princess with this Hoop Skirt! The Hoop Skirt is pretty lightweight considering how big it is, it is a little unwieldy when you first pull it out of the bag. Also folding it up is a little annoying but, this is normal fur hoop skirts. The waist part is adjustable which is great because otherwise it would be way too big. Bonus Points, the Seller didn't list this as "Women's/Girls". This Hoop Skirt was a pretty good price, and great quality so if you are wondering if you should get this or not- get it! We haven't worn it 'out' yet, due to social distancing, but we are sure we will get lots of compliments when we do! 5/5 We totally recommend this! ... show more

This hoop skirt was easy to adjust, but be careful since the edges of the hoop ends are sharp and can catch on the fabric. My only regret is not being able to find a petticoat that fits. The bones easily show through your overskirt, so a quality petticoat makes a huge difference. This is not an A-Line Hoop skirt (though, it can be if you adjust it properly). It is ball gown sized and it's hard to find a good ball gown sized petticoat to match. You'll also have troubles finding overskirts to fit, but I find long belly-dancer skirts tend to work well (if the overskirt is thin, get 2). This hoop skirt is way easy to sit down with. You basically just back up into the chair and the hoops will curve over you and the chair. I didn't have any troubles with it flipping. Careful if it's windy. The skirt doesn't flip easily, but the resistance of the wind can topple you over! The string it comes with works fine, but you might want to pin the knot if you have a long event. There are no gaps designed for pockets, but if you move the tied end to your side, you could probably jerry rig 1 pocket. Might take some sewing skills. I absolutely love this hoop petticoat! It's not heavy at all. I wish I could wear this every day because it's far more comfortable than pants! Everyone kept asking if I was cold or hot, but it was actually perfect! Odly, regardless of the temperature the comfort under the skirt stays about the same. I haven't tried wearing it in snow yet though. Might need an extra petticoat under the skirt if you have snowy weather. If you're short (I'm 5' 2"), the ruffles on the bottom might make you trip a little. You can pin the ruffles up, or raise the lowest hoop with some sewed on straps if you have sewing skills. I could go on all day about this skirt. If you're on the fence, jump on this skirt. It is good quality, easy to adjust and totally worth it. You will look amazing! ... show more

Amazing value for money! I bought it for my Halloween costume of The Queen of Hearts. Hoop skirt was sturdy but flexible, had no problem riding in the car in it, dancing and using the lady’s room. It comes in a beautiful package and it was easy to refold and put it away till next time. I was very comfortable in it the whole night; money well spent It comes in one size, but adjustable strings make it wearable for different body types ... show more

If you're looking to really make your dress poof out this is the hoop skirt for you! The skirt moves really well with the dress and is very adjustable to fit all types of body types! I returned it because it was a little more poopy than I needed but would still recommend this product! I only gave it a 4 star review though because if you jump with this skirt on it catches the wind and makes a semi loud sound like a tent flap catching the wind. Idk about other people but I plan on moving around a lot in the dress that would be paired with this hoop skirt, so that was a game changer for me. ... show more

The family and I dressed up as Mario characters and I was chosen to be Princess Peach! There aren’t a ton of great Peach options for heftier ladies so I went this route and it turned out great! The hoop skirt was definitely the icing on the cake! Would recommend!

This item was the most important part of my wedding day! As you can see from the pictures, the slip is what took my dress from pretty to princess-like! I got so many compliments on my dress and I know it’s primarily due to the slip. This slip is very light and airy, which was wonderful as it kept the built in petticoat layers of my dress off my legs. Late in the night I took it off, which ended up being a mistake as all my layers were so hot and heavy! The only downside I would say is that this slip isn’t sturdy for long term use. My recommendation for if you are planning to use it for your wedding gown: buy two. Use one for gown fittings and alterations (and dance practice if you are taking first dance classes so your partner can get an idea as to how close they can get to you) and save one for the big day. Also, the tie for the slip is a silky material, so you may want to consider changing it out for something non-slip if you have a heavily layered dress like mine. It only took five minutes to replace, so it’s an easy fix. Highly, highly recommend for anyone who wants to feel like Cinderella! Note: I have included pictures from my initial fitting of the dress (no slip), the professional picture taken of me on my wedding day (slip), and an informal picture of me on my wedding day (slip) so you can see how the slip made the dress look in multiple contexts. ... show more
