For the price, I expected quality and I’m pleased to say this product delivered. It’s not a piece of junk that you’ll toss in a season, but something that will endure abuse—which I appreciate, because my kids tend to be hard on my equipment. The bag is well engineered and useful across multiple outdoor activities, from the beach and boat to picnics at the local campground. In addition, I’m going to use it as a caddy for my dive and snorkel gear, which is quite heavy. I was initially worried that it wouldn’t perform and that the connection between the mesh and the membrane would prove an Achilles heel, but after examining the stitching and testing it with my setup plus a full weight integrated BCD, it held up to scrutiny and I really don’t think it’ll tear even under a heavier load. I got this hoping it would be a good way to store/ transport my kayaking gear. It fits my helmet, pfd, boots and dry bag (with contents) for winter storage and will be perfect for transporting wet items in the summer. I had previously tried a netted duffle, but the meeting was too easily torn. This has vinyl (or similar) coating that should add to the durability. Knocked one star off for closure options. It only shuts with a velcro handle wrap. It would be nice to have a full length closure option like zipper or buttons. ... show more

I ordered this tote to keep in the storage well of our Tarpon 120 kayak, and this thing has exceeded my expectations. The 70-liter size is huge and more than capable of holding all our kayaking supplies. For reference, I have a picture of it with two queen size pillows inside: this tote is the size of a 2-bushel plastic laundry bin. The 70-Liter version is 22-inches long, 14-inches wide, and 13-inches tall. It is made of way beefier materials than I expected, and it can practically stand open on its own. This is built like a tank and made to last. The seams on the base are welded to make it truly waterproof on the bottom. The four D-Rings near the base are great, as I can tether it into my kayak so that the tote stays in place even if the kayak tips or capsizes, although the tote itself cannot be snapped or zipped closed. It may seem a bit pricey at first glance, but I understand why, as this tote exudes quality with great attention to detail. Definitely a worthwhile purchase if you are in the market for something like this. ... show more

We own a motorcoach and have it stored a few miles away from us. We are always hauling things back and forth to it from our house. Oftentimes we haul messy things and this tote is perfect for that use. It is HUGE and holds A LOT of stuff, oftentimes more than we can even carry, and it is heavy duty. It holds even the heaviest of items we transport without fear of tearing. We like that it can be easily washed whenever we make it too dirty. A bag like this can be used for most anything. Tote is very large yet foldable. The bottom is waterproof and reinforced. the "mesh" sides are super thick sturdy rubber. took the bag out on the boat full of towels and boat snacks. had ZERO issue with the bottom getting wet. simply impervious to water washing underneath or being place down of wet sand. this bag will probably outlast me! ... show more

This bag is a great size for all your gear. The mesh netting is waterproof also so your things will dry without the bag staying wet. The lip on the bottom is high enough so water does not get in yet high enough to trap water inside when necessary of drippy items.

Wow. We ordered this bag to use going to and from our boat. Boat means water. Water means wet. Canvas totes get wet on the bottom. This one won't. Is it built strong? Well, geez... I'm pretty sure you could load it with bricks, and it could take the punishment. Is it large? Again, it would be easy to put more in it than you could lift. I would suggest using it for bulky items such as towels, blankets or a year's supply of potato chips. And maybe a couple of beers. We have other totes but nothing this strong or large.
