Description

The Nishimoto performance aluminum radiator for the 2011-2014 Ford F-150 is the ideal upgrade over the stock radiator. Whether your 2011-2014 Ford F-150 is a daily driver, jobsite hauler, track destroyer, or all three, you should never overlook the importance of installing an upgraded radiator. The 2011-2014 F-150 came equipped from the factory with two different radiators, a light duty version and a "heavy-duty" version. However, no matter which radiator your truck has, you’re leaving a lot of potential on the table. The Nishimoto F-150 radiator is designed and engineered to maximize cooling efficiency. Our radiator holds 150% more coolant and boasts a 102% increase in surface area over the heavy-duty stock radiator. So, even if you have the largest available Ford radiator, you can squeeze even more performance out of your F-150. The internal transmission cooler in the Nishimoto radiator is also larger than the transmission cooler found in the stock radiators, which will help your transmission run cooler too. Like every Nishimoto Performance Radiator, this 2011-2014 Ford F-150 radiator is constructed from durable, TIG- welded aluminum and is compatible with with no cutting or other modifications. Of course, this radiator is protected by the Nishimoto Lifetime , so you never have to worry about buying another radiator again.

  • 2011-2014 f150 radiator upgrade
Fitment is for 2011-2014 F150s and a direct fit replacement upgrade over factory/OEM. Had this installed last week when I had timing set serviced along with 160° Mishimoto thermostat. OEM radiators are known to fail causing contamination & expensive repairs. Mishimoto radiator added almost 1.5 gallon coolant capacity and 1qt transmission fluid capacity, all aluminum design (no plastic like oem) direct fit and reuses fan, hoses, and lines. Update 4/1/23- Mishimoto thermostat failed in under 1yr. But my mishimoto radiator is still keeping much cooler on our hottest days than oem ever had & has performed amazing even while towing our tongue heavy camper. ... show more

  • Great product, very good instructions.
My 2011 Ecoboost F-150 had a tendency to run at high coolant and transmission temperatures when towing our camper. Installing this Mishimoto radiator solved that issue, reducing coolant temps from 250 degrees F to 210 degrees F, and trans temps from 270 to 205. This radiator was a drop-in replacement in my truck and everything needed (except antifreeze or trans fluid) was in the box. Instructions were very good and Mishimoto has an excellent YouTube video detailing this installation. We have put roughly 8,000 miles on our truck and camper since installing this radiator and we haven't had any issues at all. I highly recommend this radiator for any F-150 that has coolant temp issues when towing a trailer. ... show more

  • Radiator dimensions are not same as stock
They didn't put the top or bottom locating pins in the center of the grommets, making it very tight. Then they made the radiator 1/4 inch taller, which when clamped down its not moving. It's meant to be flexible when the chassis flexes. So they Crack. You can do your own clearance, when they send you a new one. ... show more

  • OEM fit
Box was a bit damaged but everything inside seemed well cushioned. I don't see any leaks so I'm assuming everything was well protected. Took a couple of hours for my father and I to install but everything fits good. A bit of an overkill in regards to cooling but well received in Arizona temperatures. ... show more

  • So far so good!
I can reply again in the future as I recently installed my new radiator. I bought it because of our 2013 Ford F-150 ecoboost overheating at times and going into limp mode when pulling our 26 foot travel trailer. Keep in mind it happened when the temperature was close to 100 degrees, going uphill, ac on and stepping on the gas. Whew! Lol. Anyhow our sons friend had a similar issue with his 2017 Ford F-150 ecoboost and he purchased this radiator along with the Mishimoto thermostat and that resolved his overheating issue while pulling his travel trailer. We have no more trips planned this year and the temperature is much cooler out now so I will have to try it out next camping season and write an updated review. My expectation is that it will resolve my problem but time will tell. In general I noticed that my temperature gauge is running a little cooler and the fans are not coming on as often if at all. Before I forget, I studied and watched the installation video of the radiator and thought oh, this will be a walk in the park as I’m not a mechanic but able to do most everything on my truck, however it was more difficult then what was described in the video. The radiator didn’t just pop out and back in I had to tilt, push, pull and so forth. It’s supposed to take 2 hours but it took my son and I around 5 hours. ... show more

  • Well worth the money
Fantastic radiator. Paired with a 160 thermostat and my fans rarely come on anymore. Excellent quality. Superb fit and finish. Packaged well. Highly recommend to anyone building an ecoboost.

  • Not well made.
I have had to replace the radiator twice due to it leaking after a few months on the truck. Poor quality. Going back to OEM by Ford.

  • Need a great radiator? Stop looking it's here.
I didn't need this radiator, I wanted it. All aluminum, largest volume size available for my truck before I install twin turbos. It went in without issue and isn't leaking. I trust this to live a lot longer than the epoxy plastic tanks on stock radiators. I have nothing negative to say about this part. ... show more
