This is a very well made item that securely holds my iPhone 15 Pro Max in place without any wobbling as I ride. Once the correct opening width was set for my phone I can slide it in place flip the locking mechanism and it locks. It will not fall out.

Overall, I’d recommend. It’s a great addition to the ever-growing box of various mounts and does an excellent job. While not a fault of the holder, behind my fairly large RKA tank bag my view is obscured maybe 15% since this is a low profile mount. PROs: It has weight and a good solid/stout feeling when holding in your hand. Clever locking mechanism. Red silicone grippers on either side really hold and cushion the phone. By comparison this (Miracase) mount is much more compact than my ancient RAM phone mount. Takes up much less handlebar/viewing real estate. Allows me to see the entirety of my bike’s (1250GS-A) TFT display. CONs: Barely fits my iPhone 15 Pro Max in a Pelican (ASIN: B0CC6MW2W4) case. Still takes 2-hands to insert/remove due to the case snugness. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. When I go on bike trips with a local cycling club, I like having my phone easily available. I use it to record and map our trips, play music or podcasts and sometimes take photos or record videos while we're rolling. Until recently, I used a rubbery mount that strapped onto my handlebars and gripped my phone a its corners. The strap was hard to tighten and the corner grips often blocked points on the phone screen that I needed to touch. It generally matched the pain in my butt. The Miricase mount isn't perfect but it's a whole lot better than that rubber mount. It has a jaw-shaped base that clamps tightly to my handlebars. Like many car mounts, it uses a ball and socket to connect to a clamp system for the phone. The clamp has a two-level locking system to keep the phone safely in place and the ball joint lets you adjust the clamp to get the face of your phone exactly where you want it. I have easy access to the full screen and I can touch it anywhere without making it move. I especially like how easy it is to tilt the angle of the phone so I can capture photos or video of what's in front of me. With the phone in this mount's tight grip, my test video came out much smoother than I expected. The mount is a bit on the chunky side and I guess that's the price you pay for the safety and security that comes with getting a tight hold on your phone. Being able to shoot video in horizontal mode would also be nice but that's probably too much to ask. I'm just happy to have my phone safely at my fingertips so I can concentrate on enjoying the ride. ... show more

    • Excellent fit and operation
This is my favorite phone cradle so far. The dial lets you adjust it specifically to fit your phone, then you don't need to touch that again. The movement of the lever coupled with the squishiness of the silicone makes for just the exact right amount of tension to grip your phone securely yet release completely without dropping when flipped the other way. It can truly be used single handed. It does not interfere with plugging in any cable, it sits low enough on the phone to not interfere with any side buttons or camera lenses. The handlebar clamp is extremely well designed. It is heavier than the cradle itself. When you tighten the threaded ring that secures the clamp to phone via ball and socket, it hits a hard stop where it will not tighten any more. It is not so loose that it moves around on bumps, and not so tight that you can't reposition the cradle. It is just right, and very repeatable. Some people may not like that they cannot crank it down super tight. I thought that would be my opinion at first. But after using it for a while, I do prefer the repeatable hard stop. ... show more

I've been using a phone mount on my bike for a couple of years, now. It was the best one available at the time, but this one far surpasses it! The phone is held very securely, and can be positioned up or down or horizontally. I have a case on mine, but there is plenty of room left over for a thicker case. A much wider or taller phone would fit well, too - mine is 6.1" tall. My FAVORITE thing about this phone mount is the quick release lever! You initially use the big screw on the right to open the mount enough to easily slip your phone into it. Then you just press the lever down to secure it tightly, or up to release it! The bottom is also open to connect your phone to a charger. It is also so simple and all so well designed! I look forward to switching my old one out for this vastly improved phone mount in the next couple of days. But as impressive as it is off the bike, I have no doubt it will be just as impressive on it. ... show more
