My wife and I graduated to the Iphone 12 mini for Christmas, our first smart phones (replacing a 15 year old Nokia). We solicited advice on cases and did a lot of research on the pros and cons of the various offerings, along with screen protectors since most cases don't include that. This Miracase was in our final two. The reviews were uniformly good, and I found a video online showing that installation was very easy. So, we ordered two. They are really easy to install. The screen protector part of the case has absolutely none of the air bubble issues that plague many. Grip is good, button access is good, touch screen sensitivity seems unchanged. The only issue we had was that the side button on one case was apparently manufactured either a bit too long or too stiff. Once pressed it remains in contact with the start button on the phone which prevents the phone from starting. I contacted Miracase; they are already sending a replacement. The other case works perfectly. We highly recommend this case which provides complete protection at a bargain price, and comes with superior customer service at no extra charge. Edit 1/27/21 - Received the replacement case as promised and it works correctly. I wanted to reiterate just how good these cases are. These two part cases include a glass screen protector - there is nothing else to buy to protect the phone (unlike nearly all others) and they are a huge bargain compared to everything else I found on Amazon (looking at you Otterbox on both counts). I looked at several cases costing $40-$60 at retail outlets and none even came close to the look, feel or quality of this case. Minimal design with actual glass, front and back, that does not feel bulky. Case has a soft feel, but sturdy enough to take a drop. Yes, you can see fingerprints, but no more than an iPhone without case. This means a long lasting clear view without the streaks you get with a plastic screen. This Iphone 12 mini case is perfect. The install was super easy and the case feels heavy duty. The screen is working perfectly. This case gives you so much more for your money than any case at a store ever could. I feel extremely comfortable having my phone in this case and knowing it will not crack or scratch. If the front glass of the case does crack, the paperwork in the box says you can get a free replacement within 365 days no charge to you. The package comes with an alcohol wipe and a cleaning cloth to make sure you get your phone clean before putting it in. If you don't read the instructions you might have issues at first… This case fits so perfectly , so tight, that your phone can not have any additional screen protection on it. There is ZERO issue with tough screen sensitivity UNLESS you are trying to apply the case WITH an existing screen protector ... I learned this trough trial and error. The tempered glass on the front of the case is as sturdy as the Zagg glass screen protector.. I love that this case protects the front and back of the phone... In addition to being clear to show of the gorgeous green on this iphone 12 mini... its a better version of the otter boxes that were around for the 6.... the over all design and profile of this case is sleek , simple and elegant.... you actually lock the phone into the front portion of the case first and then secure that cartridge into the back sleeve... Not sure how there are so many reviews for a phone case when the phone was just released this week. The fit of the phone is precise. It fits great. BUT....the built in screen protector is too thick, I was unable to answer calls, hang up, or swipe up to unlock phone. The side power button is so touchy, the slightest tap shuts the phone down. Inadvertently powered up in my shirt pocket multiple times. So unfortunately I’m sending it back. Kept it on a newly arrived iphone 12 mini for about 2 hours before I had had enough. ... show more

    • Case does not keep small particles out/always looks dirty
I got this case for better phone protection while working construction. Somehow things like sawdust and water get in between the case and phone. It does good for protecting the phone from drops and screen scratches, but doesn’t protect the phone from small particles well. I once had my phone in my pants pocket while doing dishes. When I took my phone out of my pocket the screen was unresponsive due to a large water spot in the middle of the screen. I had to take the case apart and wipe off the water. I’m still scratching my head trying to figure out how it got water not only inside the case but also while being in my pocket. Apart from this there are irritating dust/dirt specks on my screen all the time no matter how many times I take it apart and clean it. Quality on par or above large name brand cases. Simply the best screen protector design I’ve ever experienced. So easy to install and so clean. No hairs, fuzzy stuff, bubbles, or dust. With a little patience at install and the supplied alcohol pad and cloth it was easy . The two part design is much more simple than the multi latch clamshell of the old otter box style. The protective rubber around the edge of the phone is firm almost hard to touch yet soft and playable enough to flex around the front lip and seal together great. The buttons are tactile and very easy to use. All the cut outs for the switches and ports are perfect. And the hard clear back of the case is super clear not discolored at all. There are simply no cons for me. That being said I like a thicker more reliable case. If you’re someone shopping for a slim profile case and don’t want added bulk. This will not be the case for you. This case add some thickness, though it’s not an absurd amount . A pleasant reminder to some that this case isn’t messing around. Your device is very safe inside.
