The exterior of the box has a photo of the product and lumberjack lumberjack manufacturers info. Inside the box, the coffee maker is largely in one piece, padded securely by a combination of cardboard and foam. In addition to the coffee maker itself, there is a small booklet and the K-Cup holder adapter. The main body of the coffee maker comes with the loose grounds cup pre-installed. You can swap between the loose grounds and the K-Cup adapter easily as they just set into a slot. The water reservoir on the coffee maker only holds a maximum of 14 oz, so this is truly a one cup at a time coffee maker. Under the lid covering the cup/ bulk reservoir, there is a silicone gasket surrounding the K-Cup piercing needle. The way it's designed, that same needle will provide hot water down into the center of the loose grounds cup in the same manner that it would after piercing a. K-Cup. The top of the machine has two simple buttons, one for a hot Brew and one for over ice. Print it onto the top is also a QR code and an email address, as well as a phone number to contact the manufacturer for support and to register the product for 1-year warranty. I like that this cold/hot brew has a generous amount of space for a cup under the output. You've got almost a full 6 in tall to put a cup of ice under there, or a tall thermo-cup if you wish. The maker even has a descaler light indicator on the lid, to let you know when it's time to descale the pot. Looking at the quick start guide booklet that comes with the machine, it has a business card sized warranty card. Enclosed with the manufacturer's info and advising you to contact the manufacturer if you have any difficulties and not return it to the place of purchase. Looking at the instructions for the units, care and operation, I don't see anything very unusual here. They do give you instructions on its first use as well as how to descale the unit when the light comes on. They also note that if you should forget to put water in the machine, it will flash the Brew button after you press it, reminding you to add water. Once you've added the water it will work. Normally. They even have a couple of pages for a troubleshooting guide in case you have any difficulties. In addition to the instruction booklet and warranty card, they also give you a recipe book for different coffee drinks along with photos of serving suggestions. I like that it has plenty of space to get a glass of ice underneath the dispenser portion. I like to put a glass full of ice cubes and a dash of milk underneath, and brew the coffee directly into my cup. Whatever way you choose to make your coffee, this small form factor machine does a good job for a single cup maker. We tried it with the loose grounds adapter that comes with it, and it did a good job, with no loose grounds in the cup. I would be careful not to lose or damage the loose grounds adapter, because it is not the same size as the keurig adapter on the market, and the keurig one seemed smaller and was loose in the machine. The bottom line on this coffee maker? It takes up very little space on the counter, and is indeed small enough. That you could put it in A cabinet between uses if you wished . It's easy to use, and it's small. Form factor was a plus. It makes a decent cup of coffee, and with the included grounds adapter, you can make your coffee as strong as you wish. I have found that 2 teaspoons of coffee grounds is plenty for a single cup of coffee, but if you're doing it over ice or you like a stronger cup, you can get up to 4 tsp in the grounds reservoir . ... show more

I saw the Tastyle mini single cup coffee maker on Vine and decided to give it a try. I personally don’t drink coffee but my husband does. He drinks one cup of coffee, with breakfast, everyday. He normally does instant but occasionally he’ll go out and purchase a real cup of brewed coffee. The first one came but it didn’t work. I returned it and I received a replacement very quickly. The setup is very easy, fill it with water insert the coffee container or pod, press the hot brew and faster than you can make an instant cup, you have a fresh brewed cup of hot coffee. My husband loves it. He says it really makes a great cup of coffee. It’s a bit pricey though but I guess you pay for the convenience of just making one cup. ... show more

There's not anything wrong with this at all. It's not fancy, and it's not meant to be. You want a quick single cup of coffee? Either use the K-cup holder, or the grounds holder. Pour in the water you need (make sure it's not too much!), and turn on. I measure the amount of water I need by filling from the cup/mug I'm going to use. The coffee maker will use all the water in the vessel. I don't use K-cups so i use the grounds holder. I do have to clean up some grounds afterwards from around the holder, but that's no biggie. I have a pot-coffee maker, but I got this for when I need a single cup/mug, and it's perfect! ... show more

Very easy to use one cup coffee machine. I like that you can use either a cup or coffee grinds. Very lightweight and easy Move around. It is also compact size and a space saver. Would be perfect for any college student in dorm rooms. Little to no noise and works pretty fast.

I am not overly pleased with this item. Perhaps, because I chose white, it leaves a mess inside where I fill my favorite excellent ground coffee into the provided piece (I am not using K-pods) and I have to clean the mess and then after you remove your cup, it drips for an additional mess. I do not believe it deserves the price for what it delivers. I will give it a few more tries and then back it goes IF this continues. ... show more

I have a water dispenser that has a k-cup brewer built in. It is starting to act up, so I needed another k-cup brewer to use. I picked this up to try it out, and it works, but there are some down sides. First of all, the brewer has no preset for coffee size. However much water you add to the tank, is the size of the cup you are going to get, so measure carefully. It takes much longer to brew than any other k-cup brewer I have used. After adding water, and a pod, from the time I press the Hot brew, button, I can make 2 cups in my other brewer. But, slow is not a deal killer. There are actually 2 buttons on the brewer, one for brewing Hot, and another for brewing over ICE. I presume the water doesn't get as hot when you use the over ice button, but the manual does not specify. When brewing with k-cups, there is some steam condensation in the cup chamber after, but it isn't too bad. However, when brewing with your own grounds using the filter cup, it leaves a pretty big mess of coffee film and water pooled up, and it needs to be cleaned after every cup, making it pretty inconvenient. Overall, it is not a bad coffee maker. It is a little slow, and a little messy, but it works and makes a good cup of coffee. Just be prepared to clean it out often. ... show more
