This little machine is great for washing a few pieces of underclothing and socks, and I've used it several times. The "rinsing" aspect, where you put the clothes in the little basket and the machine spins it around to cast off water has not worked for me - the basket keeps flying off and dashing into the walls. (Perhaps if there were only one or two very lightweight pieces being "rinsed," it would work.) I just drain the water, run another cycle without water, then when it's finished squeeze them out and hang them up to dry. This process has worked very well for me so far.

The portable washer arrived folded, only about 5 to 6 inches tall. To set it up, I had to press down on the middle while lifting the other part with the handle. Folded up, it’s about 10 ½ inches tall. I placed the lid and removed the drain hidden on the bottom of the washer. The bottom also has the number 11, which I assume refers to the washer's capacity in liters. There are four suction cups at the bottom for stability. I hung the end of the drain on one edge of the washer, securing it in a small slot. The washer comes with a drying basket that I had to assemble from two parts. I also connected the power adapter to the machine and plugged it in. To start washing, I fill it up and add some hand-wash-only clothing items. The washer is very gentle and hasn’t damaged any of my clothes; I think it's as gentle as washing by hand. Once the washer is full but not overloaded, I press and hold the switch button until the light comes on. It starts with a 5-minute cycle, but I can press the button again to start a 10-minute cycle. I add a bit of soap and let it run. After the cycle is done, I drain the water, fill it up again, and run a 5-minute cycle without soap to rinse the clothes and then drain the water. I repeat these steps 2 or 3 times or until the water comes out clear. The washer has a dehydration cycle. I press the switch button until the dehydration cycle lights up, but first, I have to snap the drying basket into the rotating disk; otherwise, it will spin off. The dehydration cycle lasts 3 minutes, and I repeat it a couple of times so my clothes aren’t dripping wet. Operating the washer is not difficult at all. It saves me time with my hand-wash-only pieces.
