    • Fantastic polisher for the price!
I already have an 8" orbital polisher and 5.5" DA polisher so needed something smaller to polish A-pillars, trim, rims, etc but couldn't quite justify some of the high prices for the big name micro polishers. Found this and loved the fact it came with a case, 2 batteries, and assortment of pads. While the batteries are only 2000mah, once fully charged, I have not had one die on me while using the polisher. The polisher itself is very quiet, especially compared to my DA. The pads are only ok but perfectly serviceable and it comes with so many spares, I don't think I'll need to buy new ones anytime soon (I will replace them with SPTA pads when the time comes though). I have used the polisher once so far and it worked great! Love that it is cordless. Used it for all the detail and hard spots on my convertible Camaro. Used it as is and used the purple pad to cut and prep the paint used the green pad to polish. I did tear one of the purple pads at a joint at the trunk. Took one and a half battery to finish the job but it comes with two so I was good to finish the job. It did get hot and you need to make sure you don't cover the vents on the polisher. Ergonomics are good and easy to understand. I would buy again. I like the cordless so much, now I need to buy a cordless DA for bigger jobs!! ... show more

I like it..If you read the description it states 2 AAA required yet they say included...I can tell you don't pay attention to the AAA that is false.The lithium ion batteries do come with it. What's in them is 18650s. 3 of them. It also states that it has a brushless copper core motor that is false its a brushed motor its either a 550 or 750 brushed motor used in older drills that are brushed, they are common motors is brushed set ups. They are great motors. You can see the motor to the right of the logo on the side...There is a vent for the motor to breathe and keep cool. 2amp hours will give you a half hour if fully charged pending on your speed setting obviously...I still like it.Regardless of the bad description notes...Maybe they will have a extended battery someday...Other than all this its still a nice tool.Works pretty good. ... show more

    • Serious Design Flaw!
At first glance it seems like a nice kit but after receiving mine I don't think so anymore. What I have discovered is that this is not a true DA (Dual Action) polisher. It is either a rotary or random orbit depending on the shaft you choose. With the eccentric shafts the tool just vibrates around and does not spin the pad like a true DA polisher. For detailing you really want either rotary or DA. Also, after looking at the pads this kit comes with I see that they are just cheap open cell foam and not true polishing pads. They are probably fine for household jobs but I would not dare use them on automotive paint. As others have mentioned, it is quite a chore to get the batteries in and out. That's a serious design flaw in my opinion. Lastly, I wanted to see if I could purchase some extra batteries but it seems they don't sell spare batteries. I guess when these wear out you have to toss out the tool. ... show more

    • Amazing polisher for tight spaces
The small size allowed me to polish the pontoon sides to like new. It is easy to maneuver into tight spaces and the various speeds made short work of getting the right finish. Battery life just ok, definitely buy additional batteries for any large job.

Used this on a detail and was surprised with its power. I have only used the green pads and wasn't too happy with the pad. Machine was bogging down when I added a small amount of pressure, I changed to a Griots microfiber pad and the stalling was never an issue again. Ran the polisher for at least 30 minutes as I worked around the car hitting spots with compound to remove blemishes.
