I thought this was going to be some dinky karaoke machine but it was a lot better than I expected. The speaker is loud and clear. I was scared it would sound a little muffled and robotic but the sound is great for what you get. The microphones are easy to connect as well and doesn't interfere with the sound. I didn’t realize how little it is. It’s super cute, but not sure how well it’ll last with my littles. It can be really loud. I planned to use it mostly with YouTube videos, but not all videos play well through it for some reason. Some were really muted, while others were loud and clear.
