I am brand new to the world of drones, so let me start off by saying I was totally clueless about their capability. It arrived with a neat little carrying case and just a few parts that needed to be assembled, which was super simple. It has a remote that you can put your phone in so you can use it to view the camera. You can either choose to control it with the app on your phone or with the controller and only use your phone to see. The instructions are simple until you get to this part. I couldn't get the tutorial to open so it took me far too long to realize that I had to connect to the Wi-Fi that the drone produces in order to see the video. I actually came back here to read other reviews before I figured that out. Once I got everything rolling on my phone, it was full speed ahead! The drone is super lightweight and small, we had to wait several weeks to try it outside since it's so breezy where I live in the spring. I can see it getting blown off course very easily. That being said, it's really easy to navigate as far as the basic function. I love that it's so easy to land. The propeller protectors are also very useful, since I'm so new. I was really worried about breaking it, but it's held up super well so far. I'm having a lot of fun flying it around our property. I can even use it to check on our livestock and chickens, which is a great bonus that hadn't crossed my mind. The camera and video is pretty clear and easy to control during the day. It's not rated for night use. There are still some options that I haven't been able to test out, such as headless mode, and the follow me mode, but those will be on my list next week while we're on vacation! Overall, this little drone has been such a blast. It's a great product to start out with and would make a fun gift for anyone! Totally affordable as well, which makes it easier to play with and not fear the expense of replacing it if you have a mishap. I like that it is very compact and comes in a hard carrying case to make it easy to bring with you anywhere you would like to go fly it. It's simple to fly and you can use your phone or controller to fly the drone. The price is very reasonable for the product and quality of the drone.

If you have never piloted a drone, and you’re not sure if you can make it work or you're going to crash it and destroy it, this is the drone for you. It’s inexpensive enough that you won’t be paranoid about using it. It’s responsive enough to learn how to use it indoors. It shows up in a carrying case. There are two batteries. There is a screwdriver and spare blades. Most importantly there are protective blade guards so when you inevitably crash while learning you don’t ruin the blades! The controller holds an android or an iPhone. You download the app, connect to the local WiFi the drone transmits, and off you go. The guide is somewhat limited, but enough to figure it out. So far after about 4 limited flights I can go up, down, rotate, move in any direction, manipulate the camera and land safely. I’ve yet to do a flip, use headless mode, or have it trace out a route. Took a few photos and videos. Couldn’t get the tutorial to work. It allows manipulation using the downloaded app or the dedicated controller module. So in summary, it’s pretty cheap, it works, and it lets you know if you like drone operation. It’s likely a bit too basic for an accomplished user, but pretty ideal for a beginner. ... show more

Upon unboxing this drone the weight and feel are solid yet very light. The instruction manual is very easy to follow and gives detailed instructions that really helped guide this amateur through the very basics of flying this drone. The controller felt right at home in my hand, very responsive and held my iPhone perfectly as I started this droning adventure. A quick calibration and I was able to get the drone airborne after only a few minutes after charging. Did I mention that its pretty durable? A couple crashes later the propellers and propeller guards all held up very well. I didn't even need to change them out. Once I was more comfortable flying around some of the built in stunts were easy to execute and really made me feel like an ace in no time! The app is also pretty nice, bare bones for the most part and I couldn't get the tutorial to ever load but controlling the drone through the app took a bit more of a learning curve and did cause me to crash a few more times (still no damage to the propellers!) and the options on the HUD of when using the app are much easier to engage with the app over the controller. I also thought it was neat being able to controller the drones pitch by tilting my iPhone as an optional feature. The bad. The camera isn't the best even as HD but for entry level droning or for just messing around this drone is a very good value for the price. ... show more

This drone is amazing! The build quality is superb, and it feels very durable. The camera captures stunningly clear photos and videos, making it perfect for both hobbyists and professionals. The controls are intuitive, and the drone is very responsive, even in windy conditions. Battery life is impressive, giving me plenty of time to explore and capture great footage. It's not a hefty drone, it doesn't last for hours. But if you want something small, light, working, and inexpensive then this is the drone for you. Great to learn on, easy instructions. Fits into a wonderful little carrying case as well. Would definitely recommend as a first-time drone.
