I was worried that my 5yo could not use it, but I let her go outside and she quickly figured it out. I bought some small drones years ago for my nephews and they didn't last long because all of the blades broke. They are encapsulated by the cage very well so even when it bounces off of things it doesn't hurt them nor the blades (we started inside the house. It has the standard button for tricks and gyro set, but a couple of additions I have not seen before that I liked for my kiddo were the auto take-off and land (a button you push and it starts and takes off and lands all by itself) and the high/low sensitivity toggle. This allowed her to move it around without it getting too twitchy. I recommend it, also love that it not only came with batteries for the remote (3-AAAs) but it also came with two rechargable batteries for the drone instead of one internal one. ... show more

Small is a good thing with this drone. It fits in the palm of your hand, but it is a really fun little toy. It flies impressively well and has nice maneuverability making it perfect for indoor use. Soo cool and fun to play with the little propellers are very strong. It’s an easy set up but as soon as it’s ready it elevates very fast. This is a good drone starter! Fun Xmas gift for kids. !

The media could not be loaded. The Mini drone comes with 2 rechargeable batteries and c cord to charge them. Comes with 3 aaa batteries for the remote control. It's very small and compact. Batteries last for quite a while. It's nice that you have two, so you can charge one while using the other and switch out for more playtime. The battery, probably last a little bit less than an hour of consistent play. If you have a dog who is bothered by sounds of similar toys I'd recommend maybe putting your dogs outside or elsewhere while playing. It's more for an indoor toy than it is outdoor. It does go pretty high. My only complaint Is the power button on The drone is really tiny. First I didn't notice it, and if you have long nails. It can be a real hard to push it. But besides that, it came fast, it was package very nicely. It has spare blades and comes with a screwdriver. Both my kids enjoyed playing with it. ... show more

Comes with 2 batteries which is perfect so 1 can fast charge while the other one is under use. Fast charge can reduce the charge time in 1/2 which is great.
