I love this foundation make up. It’s wonderfully innocent of harmful ingredients. Mineral Fusion foundation is verified by EWG, the research outfit that analyzes a variety of products for toxic chemicals and rates safety. I shutter to think of how many of us have been rubbing unsafe make-up into our skins year after year. Mineral Fusion goes on smoothly and gives skin a nice fresh glow. It comes in so many shades that I had no trouble finding a perfect match for my skin tone (Neutral 2). It offers light coverage. But I apply an extra coat to the areas of my face that need it, and that works beautifully. I also reapply a bit after wearing a face mask, because some color does rub off. But in general, by the end of the day, my face looks as nicely made up as it did in the morning. Up till now, I could only find Mineral Fusion at my local health food market. The liquid makeup is excellent. It feels good on my skin. It’s made of safe and healthy ingredients. And best of all it looks great! I’ve used your makeup for several years after discovering it at a natural foods store and love it. The color swatches on the website are not a depiction of the actual color at all...not even close. Pictured is Warm 3 - Olive. It's extremely lighter when applying. To give you an idea of how light the shade is compared to the brand provided pics, it probably would be equivalent to NC 20 or 25 in MAC. I absolutely love mineral fusion cosmetics!!!! I have very sensitive skin and can’t use much of anything that doesn’t make my skin break out, get a rash or have a some sort of allergy reaction to. I’ve been purchasing their face foundation, powders and other products for years! It’s long lasting full coverage without a cakey looking or feeling finish. I’m a loyal customer and will continue to purchase from them. Only thing I wish they did more of was give their loyal long term customers, order discounts, promotions or discounts. I really wanted this product to work. It applies well and the coverage feels very natural although the color is far too light. After looking at other reviews and trying to determine if the next shade up is the right option, I’m afraid the olive tones are lacking considerably. EDIT (as of Aug. 7/24): If you’re a fellow olive girly like me, then you know how hard it is to find properly toned foundations - insert Alex Anele smirk here - so I’m changing my review by adding an additional ⭐️. This photo shows my application (pre return in June) with bronzer to help darken up the tone a bit; I’m a light - light/medium and seeing as that it is mid summer, I need a darker shade. One it’s own Olive 1 is quite fair although I appreciate MF for including a foundation line that features true olive undertones. Seeing as how this shade has been consistently discounted I think I’m going to repurchase ($6 and some change in June, now $8 in Aug) and deal with the bronzing for summer. I don’t need to color mix with blue drops because the base is already a decent blend. Hope this helps! ... show more

First of all when I opened the package and looked at the bottle, I thought it looked lighter than the Amazon sample picture. But when I compared them side by side they were exactly the same shades. I think it has something to do with a glass bottle. After trying the foundation, I can honestly say... It is an exact match. I am so picky about foundation, I have tried multiple brands. I finally gave up with Laura Geller, It was making me look dry and pasty, settling into my lines and not lasting at all during the day. I put on the MF (Olive 4), and so far I love it! Usually I am a little darker but I haven't been in the sun lately because of the weather. Living in Florida I always use sunscreen, I do not bake in the sun, but it's nice to have a little color. I couldn't easily do that with a little touch of bronzer. I'm going right back to Amazon and order two more bottles. At under $8 this is an unbelievable find. I think once you find the right shade you will be happy but at this price you can buy two and mix them if they're not quite right. Very happy!!
