I love, love, love this. We call it the "Red Rocket" and it delivers exceptional quality sound and pares really easy with my iPhone. I use it when cleaning house, in the car so I can hear my phone better (for music and podcasts). Be sure you have an extra battery and a charger. I simply rotate back and forth and never am without music. The battery lasts quite awhile, too. I don't think you can get a better speaker for the price. I was debating between this one and the m12/18 that's Bluetooth only and I have to say I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase. I don't know what the battery life is like yet with the 2.0, currently testing that as I'm writing this review and so far its made it 3 hours and I still have half battery at max volume. It's loud, am/fm is clear and the plug doesn't interfere with the signal. It's awesome that it has bass/treble adjustments. User friendly, figured out all the little settings within 2 minutes after open box. We'll worth it in my opinion ... show more

    • Great portable radio for the price.
I originally bought the JBL go 2 for work, where I am in and out of extreme cold and heat and work in water as well. The JBL GO 2 made it 5 months before it was toast. I recently purchased this Milwaukee and so far I am extremely impressed. One of the better benefits is that it is loud enough to hear over a lot of noise. It is extremely durable and easy to use. It also has extras like phone charger, battery charger, and the great part is it can either be plugged in or you can use an M12 battery to run it. The battery lasts for a long time, I have run it off my M12 for several days in a row at 8 hours a day. ... show more

    • Decent.. Bluetooth audio skips if units is moved.
The good: -looks good -Finally a electronic device that you don't have to press and hold to turn on and off.. just press once quick -battery lasts long time -sound is good The bad: -needs to be louder -Bluetooth connection is not very good. Something is critically wrong with the Bluetooth on this unit.. it stutters and skips like a scratched record of the unit does not remain perfectly still. This is unacceptable because Bluetooth should not do that. It's very annoying and embarrassing when you're trying to enjoy the music.
