  • Great!
Color: green
It works great! Very loud and light is very bright too

  • Highly recommend
Color: Black
The ads make this radio look cool. It is even better. Sound quality is excellent. Great features with light, flashlight and alarm. Weather options mean you can be warned of dangerous weather. Shortwave stations offer a great feature in a crisis. The multiple charging options make me wish I had this when I lived through 5 hurricanes. The ability to charge my cell phone in particular covers the low price. Small size definitely recommend for camping, travel and as a go to for emergency. I use mine every day in the garage. ... show more

  • fairly decent for the money, does not come with an ac adapter.
Color: green
this is a nice little radio and it does have all the features as described BUT it does not come with an ac adapter which i find a little rediculous. i for one would like it charged and ready in case of an emergency. if it sits around the built in battery is going to drain away and when i need it most it is NOT going to be of any use till i crank it up. to be fair it doesn't take much to put a charge into it. but i want it when i want i want it, and that's IMMEDIATELY in an emergency. however i would still say it's worth the money simply to have because it does have all the features it has.i will edit this later if the company gets back to me. ... show more

  • Your Ultimate Emergency Companion
Color: Black
When the weather outside is frightful and the storm is so frightful, you need a reliable way to keep up with the latest updates. Enter the Auto NOAA Digital 5000 Weather Radio, your all-in-one survival buddy that brings a wealth of features in one portable package. From its solar-powered capabilities to its SOS function, this radio has your back when nature decides to throw a tantrum. Whether you’re camping, prepping for a storm, or just want some extra peace of mind, this radio is your trusty sidekick. PROS: • Multiple power options: It’s like the Swiss army knife of radios, solar power, hand crank, USB charging, and AC. Whatever disaster strikes, you’ll stay powered up. • SOS feature: If things really go sideways, the SOS alarm will let everyone know you need help. It’s the ultimate “Hey, I’m here!” button. • Built-in phone charger: If your phone is running low on battery and you’re not near an outlet, no worries, this radio doubles as a phone charger. • Emergency light & flashlight: The built-in flashlight is perfect for when you need to light up your path, while the reading lamp keeps your evening cozy (without the need for candles). • Clear audio & versatility: AM/FM, shortwave, NOAA, it’s got it all, so you can stay in the know, no matter what you’re into. CONS: • Hand crank might take a bit of effort: While the hand crank works great, if you’re trying to get a full charge, you might be working up a bit of a sweat. Good news, though, you’ll be too busy surviving to care. • Not the most compact: While portable, it’s not exactly something you can throw in your pocket. It’s better for your backpack or emergency kit. • Volume level can be a bit quiet: The speaker works fine, but if you’re in a noisy environment, you might have to crank it up a little more than you’d expect. • Limited radio range: While it can pick up a variety of stations, the shortwave reception might not be perfect depending on your location. Overall, the Auto NOAA Digital 5000 Weather Radio is a fantastic tool for anyone looking to stay prepared. Whether it’s a storm, power outage, or a random camping trip, you’ll have everything you need in one device. Plus, it’s practically a lifeline during an emergency, just add some snacks and you’re ready to weather the storm. ... show more

  • C'mon it's 30 something dollars.
Color: Yellow
Ok. Let's be real here. This is not a 5 star item. I gave it 5 stars because it actually worked out of the box for like 35 bucks. I wanted a weather radio with am/fm, a couple of lights and a couple of different charging options. I read tons of reviews on this product. The lesser reviews probably got a bum product. Stuff happens, quality control is nil in today's world. Most of the 5 star reviews are hilarious....it isn't that great for 30 some bucks get real. Flashlight and reading light have 2 settings...both probably eat the battery alive. Tuning is very very touchy, it's not digital...want that..buy that....tuning is more sensitive than my second wife. I live in a metro area, stations are strong, just touchy. Weather radio picked up NOAA just fine. SW what can I say picked up 30 stations of garbage. If you are buying this for SW I have to ask why ? Get a dedicated SW radio. From some other reviews. Antenna...does not swivel...don't try. Solar charge....read the darn manual, this is the equivalent of a trickle charger... it helps that's all. Hand Crank....again read the manual 8 to 10 min of crank at 2 cranks per sec. to turn on a dead Cell Phone....it helps that's all. Compass...cute feature, inaccurate as **** if you are relying on this you're already toast. Sound....like an 80's handheld radio...very good for voice and real low music but, quite loud enough. Unit as a whole......what I expected for the price. I wanted am/fm/weather/ lights/charging options. The bar was set low for this one and it crossed the bar. If I get 1 yr out of I'm good. It is a super basic for short term emergencies NOTHING ELSE, was why I bought it for now. If it doesn't die or start melting withing 1 yr. I'm content lol after that all bets are off. So again be real, if you are relying on this to be your lifesaver...you are probably already in trouble but, if you grab this with a clear head, based on yoir $$ at this time, it covers your basics yet, patience is required for tuning frequencies. Otherwise upgrade. For now I knew what i was buying and it does barely what I asked. And yes I got the crooked tuning dial...whatever for 30 some bucks I will find what I'm looking for or I would have upgraded to digital. P.S. if you live in the styx like I used to this probably won't work for you. Reception is not strong enough. City is fine. In rural areas, you may want to check out their stronger digital products.(I had dedicated equipment for when I lived on a farm) Cheers.....hope this helps ! ... show more

  • Awesome little Radio/Emergency Device
Color: Yellow
I bought this for the apocalypse. It doesn't dissapoint either. It also has a cool radio tuner that worked well playing 80's songs while fishing. The alarm works well and loud. The hand crank power supply works well as does the usb charger. I think this is the best thing to carry if you find youself in some trouble anywhere. Whether you are homeless or not, this thing could probably help save your life with the weather band and other features. Well made and perfect for anyone. ... show more
