Wow. What a primer. I went from having my face look like a canola oiled mirror to having a matte face. This primer is the stuff of dreams. I can get through the day without looking like a greasy goblin, which is not an easy task. Prior to this, my friends used to make fun of me, even as going as far as to use my forehead to apply their lipstick. “Oh, your face is so shiny. That’s why you’re not married.” And I would say, “Shut up, Beatrice. Your husband doesn’t even love you.” And while that was true, the insult still stung. After getting this primer, I no longer faced the ridicule of the women at my book club or PTA meetings. The only thing shiny about me now is my diamond heart and sparkling personality. I really wanted this product to work, because even though my pores aren’t super huge and have many of them and they’re in one prominent area so it makes them look even bigger. I saw the reviews on this product and was so excited to try it, but in all honesty whenever I put it on it didn’t make a difference and then once I left it on for a little while I would put my makeup on and it would start crumbling into little balls along with my makeup, and I made sure that the makeup I used was compatible with this primer; it just didn’t work for me at all ☹️ ... show more

I have tried matte finish foundation to help curb my shine throughout the day. I usually have to blott several times and my make up is practically gone by end of day. I don't do any face prep- no moisturizer because the oil on my face would be even worse. I buy real expensive foundation too. But I decided to give this a shot. I have used it for the last few days and have noticed a huge reduction in oil on my face. My makeup stays in place and I only need to blott ONCE during the day. This is a game changer for me.
